Yes, the grass bag and frame come with the mower in the box. To assemble, just slide and snap the clips on the fabric bag edges onto the frame (no tools needed). Here's an image from the owner's manual....-Robert@Honda

Everything is assembled except the bagger which is very easy to put on; you have to adjust the wheels and handle to meet your desired grass cut and your height; this is easy with the levers, no tools required

You open the box and take off the wrapping. The handle is made to fold for storage. It comes folded. All you have to do is straighten it up and tighten the butterfly screws. You add the oil and that's it. There is nothing more to do.

Very little. Unbox, remove some packing and place the handles in their upright position and tighten, by hand, two bolts that keep the handles in place. The only other thing is to adjust cutting height, as desired, add the enclosed oil, add your own gas and start. Reading the manual is suggested and I happened to do so - it's a worthwhile read.

I just bought this mower and we literally "assembled" in two minutes. We tore threw the packaging and then you just rotate the handle about 90 degrees until it snaps in place. Then you put in the quart of oil that comes with the mower and gas---you have to supply the gas. It started immediately. I did not apply the bag to collect trimmings, I munch so I don't know what's involved with that.

The electric start is battery operated. You start the ignition with a key (much like starting an automobile)
Of course you can also start the engine by pulling a cord.

The mower has a small battery with a key (I don't know why they gave it a key.). Like starting a car, you turn the key to start the mower rather than pulling a cord. Be sure you have turned on the fuel valve so the engine can get the gasoline. (Not all mowers have fuel valves so you need to remember to turn it on.) The fuel valve is located at the lower right (mower facing you) on the engine.

Out of the box, you need to pull the cord the first time. Each time after that, the battery recharges as the mower runs, so you never need to pull the cord again, although I guess you could if you wanted to. Read Less

It's the most impressive one I've ever owned. No need for a battery charger, it charges while you're mowing. Out of the box it started instantly with the key, and hasn't failed to start yet. The battery is located in the box on the handle where the key is.

All you do is turn a key to start the mower then while the mower is running it charges the battery for the electric start so you don't have to worry about removing the battery and charging it like with other mowers that have electric starts.

Answer:
I believe Honda website claims 88 or 89 lbs. It's more weight than a push mower but the self propel does do a lot of the work for you excluding tight trim areas. Pushing manually is not too bad but if you ever have to pull it out of corner or from behind something you will strain a lot. For me, this was the deal breaker along with the in-consistant variable speed and hassle to clean deck.

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 216 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by What were the Honda Engineers Thinking I have worked on lawnmowers for a long time. I have also had a part time small engine repair business where I worked on machines for others. I have never owned a Honda mower before and was shocked to learn that this mower was designed without an oil drain plug. That's right, no plug to drain the oil when it's time for a change. You have to either try to suck it out through the oil filler tube or turn the machine on it's side and let the oil run out all over the mower deck and onto the floor. I'll never buy another. June 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quality Product Highly recommend this product. The reliability of the Honda engine alone is enough, starts right up and runs great, but add in the electric start and self propel makes it a winner all the way. Speaking of the self propel, I really like how it is adjustable (like a gas pedal does) push the lever down more and the faster it goes. You can set the pace to match your pace, much better than a set single speed that is on or off. Price is very reasonable for what you're getting and I am very glad I purchased it. Cuts very nice and does good job of mulching the clippings. I have not used the grass catching bag, but assume it works about same as any other. April 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works perfect Easy start with electric startet. good quality, reliable Honda engine June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is my first electric start gas mower, it is so easy to use and does such a great job. I have always used an electric mower because it was so easy to start. This mower beats any other I have ever owned. Starts right off, does an excellent mowing job. At first it was hard to adjust to a self propelled mower, but now I love it. I had also never used a grass catcher, but during dandelion bloom time, it kept them from going to seed in my lawn. As a woman, I highly recommend this mower. June 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by yes i purchased this one VERY EASY TO ASSEMBLE- HAD PURCHASED ONE FROM S___RS RETURNED IT TO HEAVY TO HANDLE AND ASSEMBLE PULLED THIS HONDA OUT OF BOX FLIPPED UP HANDLE CLIPS SNAPPED INTO PLACE- POURED IN OIL THAT CAME WITH MOWER-POURED IN GAS- TURNED THE KEY AND OFF I WENT-I AM A SENIOR 71YRS- THAT NEEDED ELECTRIC START/BAD ROTATOR MUSCLES/ BUT USED THE PULL CORD TO SEE IF EASY AND YES IT WAS- NEED TO REMEMBER TO OPEN FUEL VALVE WHEN READY TO CUT AND THEN CLOSE WHEN DONE--ALSO STILL PRACTICING SPEED CONTROL- MOWER IS ABLE TO BE PUSHED IF NOT USING SMART SPEED KNOBS. TAKES PRACTICE TO SEE WHAT HEIGHT IS BEST FOR YOUR LAWN. CUT A PUBLIC AREA AND USE THE "BAG DIRECTOR" WITHOUT THE BAG BECAUSE GRASS 2 FEET HIGH TO MULCH CUT WITHOUT STALLING.I CALL THIS MOWER MY CADILAC LAWNMOWER. HAVE HAD FOR ONLY ONE MONTH.LOVE THE CLIP DIRECTOR AND FUEL VALVE-AND KEY START. COULD USE ON BOARD NOZZLE TO HOSE OUT UNDERCARRIAGE-NEVER HAD ONE ON OTHER MOWERS-DIDNT LIKE TO TIP MOWER OVER TO HOSE OUT. May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing results I looked at a lot of mowers and the reliability of the Honda engine, no external battery for electric start and the two blades were the deciding factors. I paid 100 more than I wanted but the quality was worth it, 10 years from now that money won't matter if the cost of ownership is low. It did an amazing job right out of the box ! May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best one ever Have had this mower for 3 seasons now. Starts on the first pull every time, no exceptions. The cut is great and the rear wheel drive is effortless. You just can't find a better mower than this. May 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far, I love it. Ok, please keep in mind that I have only owned this mower for two months. I love everything about it! It was a little different getting used to the self propelled padles on the handle but once I found a comfortable position, I have no issues with it. I love the fact that you can switch from bag to mulch very easy and best of all is the key start, which, hasn't failed me once in the 6 times that I have used it this far. I have had a lot of mowers over the years and I have to say that this is one of the best I have ever used. May 10, 2016
