Where can I purchase more of the black plastic connectors?
Asked by: AliaM
If only there was some kind of internet search tool that would help you search for words or phrases like "storage cube connectors". We could give it a name like, oh I don't know, "Google"!!! Duh, ok here you go http://www.organizeit.com/wire-cube-plastic-connectors.asp?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=BingPLA

what is the maximum wieght capacity of this organizer

can they be used as a platform for a twin size bed mattress
Asked by: nancy
Not much. The grid wires are thin and only tack welded so they bend and break fairly easily. The connectors also pull apart easily unless you use zip ties to secure the grids together

What is the sizing of the individual square openings?

I was suggested to purchase these to make a guinea pig habitat. The holes should not be more than 3.8cm (38mm) wide. Can I get an accurate measurement of one of the openings?
Asked by: Radiation
23 grids - 14 large grid (2-3/4 in.) and 9 small grid 1-3/4 in.)

30.375 in. x 44.625 in. Silver Stackable 6-Cube Organizer is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cautiously optimistic Bought this to hold seasonal sweatshirts and sweaters which take up too much drawer space. It was tricky to assemble; previous panels would pop out of the connectors as I assembled subsequent panels. It's not the sturdiest unit once assembled but it will suffice for my purposes. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this for high usage or heavier items. I think the panels would pop out of the connectors if there was too much movement putting items on the shelves or taking them off. But it should be fine for clothing or other lighter-weight items.

I would have given it 5 stars, but I had to use wire ties to hold it together.Easy to put together and for the price I paid it's well worth it.I'm using it to hold winter clothes.i wouldn't put real heavy objects on it.the wire ties were for the connectors they slip out real easy if use move it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product I'm using this as a makeshift pantry while my kitchen is being remodeled, it fits nicely in the corner and holds lots of stuff. Not great for canned goods, the shelves bow under the weight so I put those on the bottom. It was very easy to put together.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fairly delicate but nice size compartments. I had called home depot to ask them how much each shelf could hold as I was planning to use these to hold my quilting fabric. They told me 10 pounds. When I got the 4 I ordered, I found that yes, it would hold the fabric okay but it isn't the sturdiest item for staying together - as a matter of fact, I assembled it in my family room and then tried to move it to my craft closet during which move, it totally fell apart. The idea of it is perfect as you can see what is in each cube from all sides. I turned two of the cubes on the top so they are more of a box with no lid and I have filled one with crochet thread and one with yarn. Then I have stacked quilting fabric on the shelves of the others and they seem to be holding up fine. I definitely would not purchase this for kids to use in any capacity. The shelves are good but the connections need to be made differently. I'm thinking I might just use some zip ties to hold them together a little more sturdily. as a side note, my little kitten loves to climb in and around it.
