Answer:
This rack is extremely light, and its sturdiness is questionable. For a few garments, it works just fine. But if you're going to load this rack up with a dozen or so fur coats, i wouldn't expect it to last very long.

Answer:
Looks to maybe hold 10 coats depending on thickness of the coats and their weight. Because parts were missing from the box I never got it fully assembled, so my answer is not to be fully relied upon. You can estimate the number of coats it will hold by the specifications concerning the width of the rack.

Expandable Steel Rolling Garment Rack in Chrome/Black is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 67.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy Rack This is a handy little garment rack. Assembly is a cinch. There are no tools necessary except your hands. It's simply a matter of popping some of the tubes and joints together and then screwing on the wheels. It's pretty lightweight. It doesn't feel particularly sturdy but that said it's nice that it's easy to move around whether you're rolling it (there are ways to lock the wheels if you want) or picking it up. And I haven't had any problems with it falling over so I guess the weight is fine. It's nice that you can easily raise or lower it and you can also expand the side poles easily to increase hanging room. It's been a great addition to our laundry room and I'm considering getting a second one for my kids costumes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Light Weight Assembly is super easy, that's a good start, but I hung several blouses, sweaters and one jacket on the rack, with 3 pair of shoes on the base, and it collapsed. So, I have designated this as my ironing rack. I can press 6-8 shirts and blouses and they don't get wrinkled or bump into each other until it's time to hang in the closet. It's perfect for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and Sturdy This garment rack is a good light-medium duty garment rack. I will be using it for my mobile spa party business, hanging 8-10 robes on it at a time. It is sturdy for its weight and size, and the wheels roll well. Putting it together took less than 10 minutes, without needing to read the instructions, but they are good if you need them to make sure the poles are in the right place. I like that it can be raised or lowered depending on the needed height. It also has a little more hanging space on either side of the vertical poles. All in all it is a great little rack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Useful Very nice garment rack Received it Aug.30 and put it together the next day Very simple to put together also Very stylish with the black and chrome color Took it right downstairs to see how it was going to hold up Put sweaters on it As you can see from the picture holds a lot with no problem I do recommend this garment rack So try one yourself ,OK

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great portable, temporary rack for clothing hanging DESIGN It's incredibly light, making it easy to move. It has an adjustable height making placing garments easy for anyone, while allowing for longer dresses. It also has an extended collapsible short horizontal bar at both ends that hides away. And rounding out the design, 2 of the 4 casters have locks to ensure it doesn't move when you don't want it to. USE In practice, this rack seems quite fragile. I can see this easily tilting over horizontally (sideways) and breaking with too many clothes. Clothes are, after all, quite HEAVY! It works amazingly if you plan on just hanging 3 garments on it (as in the pictures). But seriously. Who's going to use this thing for only 3 shirts! You're gonna be tempted to hang a lot of clothes on this rack. And you'll do so at your own peril. ASSEMBLY As easy it as it gets. My 8 year old was able to assemble this rack by himself in under 10 minutes! (i timed him) SUMMARY An excellent light weight, portable, temporary rack for clothing hanging. Seems very fragile and delicate. Assembly is a breeze.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rack Very shabby and it is not stable. It can't take alot of clothes on it.
Date published: 2016-12-06
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent option for short-term/light use Lasted a month before the plastic bent and the entire rack collapsed. For the price, it's exactly what I expected, but definitely not something that can be used in the long term.
