approximately how many coats can it hold?

Asked by: Horty
This will be determined by how heavy the clothes you plan to place on the garment rack.

What is the maximum (stable) height

What is the maximum (stable) height it can go to? What is listed seems to be the lowest height. Please answer.
Asked by: MikeyB
Mine was set at about 5 feet high and toppled over with not much weight on it. I think the base on one side cracked and the whole thing twisted and hit the floor. All the connectors are plastic they broke too. I would set it as low as you can and not put too much weight on it. I only had about 12 shirts 6 prs of jeans and a few coats. It couldn't handle it!

how much weight this will hold?

Asked by: simon
Not much, In my review I posted I had a few coats about a dozen shirts and half dozen pairs of jeans. It broke and everything is on the floor. The plastic that they use for the connectors and base is too thin and cracks easily under pressure.

I had high hopes for this rack but it's just too cheaply made will not hold much weight, had a few coats, about a dozen shirts hanging and about 6 pairs of jeans on it heard a noise upstairs and it was all laying on the ground the plastic base cracked the whole thing must have twisted as it fell over and all the other plastic connectors cracked as well as the base on the other side. IMO avoid this get one with little to no plastic!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy Rack This is a handy little garment rack. Assembly is a cinch. There are no tools necessary except your hands. It's simply a matter of popping some of the tubes and joints together and then screwing on the wheels. It's pretty lightweight. It doesn't feel particularly sturdy but that said it's nice that it's easy to move around whether you're rolling it (there are ways to lock the wheels if you want) or picking it up. And I haven't had any problems with it falling over so I guess the weight is fine. It's nice that you can easily raise or lower it and you can also expand the side poles easily to increase hanging room. It's been a great addition to our laundry room and I'm considering getting a second one for my kids costumes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and Sturdy This garment rack is a good light-medium duty garment rack. I will be using it for my mobile spa party business, hanging 8-10 robes on it at a time. It is sturdy for its weight and size, and the wheels roll well. Putting it together took less than 10 minutes, without needing to read the instructions, but they are good if you need them to make sure the poles are in the right place. I like that it can be raised or lowered depending on the needed height. It also has a little more hanging space on either side of the vertical poles. All in all it is a great little rack.
