The Honeywell Allergen Plus is effective against the following contaminants: dust/lint, airborne dust mite debris, pollen, pet dander, mold spores and bacteria.

I bought a package of two since we always change both filters on the same day. Do not remember the package price, but it was for both filters.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 263 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Doing the job fine, for a good price I'm no expert in these matters so all I can really go on, is that it seems to be doing a good job of filtering, it doesn't obstruct the air flow too much, it's sturdy enough that it hasn't flexed and gotten sucked up into the blower mechanism (new house, with a powerful blower and no grill preventing that, so I had been a bit worried), and the price seems reasonable. I do like very much, however, that Home Depot ships it to the store for free convenient pickup -- this size is rare enough that I couldn't find it in stock anywhere nearby, and the shipping costs at places like Amazon are prohibitive. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Cost-Effective Alternative For years we have used the less-expensive air filters in our home A/C unit, but never really knew the difference in filtration efficiency until we tried a set of these filters instead. What a difference!! I typically complained year-round about allergies even at home, getting relief only when prolonged rainy periods drove down the allergen levels. With these new filters I find that I have almost no sinus allergy problems at home; the only way to improve the performance would be to move even further up the scale by purchasing HEPA- quality filters. These filters cost more, to be sure; but they also live up to the manufacturer's claims by lasting 3 times longer. In the final analysis it was cheaper to buy these filters and use them longer. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I'm happy to have found this filter which is very close to the size that I require for my unit. I had never used Honeywell filters before but find that they work just as well as some of the other more expensive and filters out there in the market. Very satisfied with this product. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Better than no filter at all. Having a professionally install high efficiency media filter that is 4" or more wide would be the better choice. October 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fit the furnace. October 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Does the job I have no idea if this furnace filter protects me from allergens or not. I do know it fits my furnace, was at a good price, and was clean when I put it in. If it's dirty when I take it out in a few months, then it has done its job as far as I'm concerned. October 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Affordable Love this product. Not too cheap but not too pricy. October 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great filter I realize that there are more advanced filters out there but I also keep in mind that the more advanced filters can make your A/C work harder. I figured this type was a good balance between the highly advanced and the entry level ones. October 25, 2016
