what temp. does it close and what temp.does it open?

what temp. does it close and what temp.does it open?
Asked by: mutt
Hello! This thermostat will "close" at the desired setpoint minus 1°. Likewise it will "open" at the desired setpoint plus 1°. So, if you are set to 70°, the heat will come on when the thermostat measures 69°, and the heat will run until the temperature reaches 71°.

CT50K Low Temperature Thermostat is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only low temp thermostat to buy I looked for a while to find a thermostat that would go to less than 50. This thermostat was easy to hook up just two wires on my furnace. It has been in use for two years and has worked without a problem. It easily keeps my work shop just above freezing when I'm not there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great thermostat This thermostat does exactly what it should. I mounted it t the wall, ran the wires through, and hooked them up. Turned the power on and the heater fired right up. This was easy and fast to install and works perfectly. Love the product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works fine but This thermostat works fine so far . I bought a few for my various properties . It does not work if your heating source has a fan . They should make this much more clear that it does not work if heat source has a fan . I have looked for one that would work with a fan but they do not seem to make a low temperature thermostat for fan application . Surprised that big company like this would not make such a product .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product for the money I have two of these in a garage and workshop they both work very well They will give you the option to leave the heat on at a very low setting.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Low Temperature Thermostat Looks good setting on the workbench.... I have not installed it as of yet.... Clearly not much to select from so they (Honeywell) have it overpriced for what it is.... However if you want it ya gotta pay the price....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lemon I installed this CT50K and it seemed to work but after a few months it just stopped working. I would really like to find a replacement that will go down to 35F.
