Answer:
The Honeywell HVC0001 is designed to control a single speed fan, in an effort to help provide the appropriate amount of ventilation for your residence.
We do not recommend using it to control the heater. If you have further questions, please contact the Honeywell Consumer Technical Support Line at 1-800-468-1502.
Sincerely,
Honeywell Customer Care

Rated 2.4 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Expensive I ordered it because the one I had has stopped working. It's only about two years old. On the manual instructions, It says Honeywell guarantees for 5 years (doubt it). Anyway I ended up to returned it because I found substitute product made by Levinton which in my opinion could fasilitate the main purposes. I would buy Honeywell for $65 rather than Levinton if it lasted at least 5 years. January 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This Switch is Terrible We have had to replace this Switch 4 Times in the last 18 months. It keeps on FAILING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! July 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product and works great! This product replaced the old mechanical ventilation timer for my laundry room. I was looking for something modern and efficient that would circulate fresh air in my house but not run so much as to pull all the heat out. Perfect solution was to have it run for 10 minutes on then 20 minutes off for what they call a cycle in the manual all day. You can also program it to run at set times throught the day/night. Looks clean and functions well. My only complaint is that it did not come with a trim plate. I had to purchase one at my local hardware store. January 28, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great while it works Died after a year and a half. Can't seem to find a similar alternative... April 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by My fan controller keeps coming on automatically. Other then that, the switch is great. I more then likely do not know how to operate it yet, so it could be my fault. When I first installed it, and before I set any options, the fan would constantly come on. It is a great little switch. February 3, 2012
