The Honeywell CQ200A Thermopile Generator is designed to have an output of 600mV to 750mV when properly installed and adjusted. It has a long history of being a universal replacement for a wide range of thermopile generators and applications with the same specifications.

The Honeywell CQ200A thermopile generator, when properly installed and adjusted, is designed to have a normal range output of 600mV to 750mV.
Information in the install guide for the Williams wall furnace you reference indicates that the thermopile generator needs to have a minimum output of approximately 490mV.

I certainly could be used in that capacity to shut the whole system down if it reached 165 degrees. placement of the thermopile would have to be carefully thought out to prevent false signals. it would have to be spliced in to shut the whole system down (gas and blower)
