Very impressive; large but not too heavy. Battery is GREAT. I use on stair carpet and so NICE without a cord to worry about or heavy vacuum to drag around.

This is an amazing hand held vacuum. The suction power is amazing. It comes with two different attachments and makes cleaning up a small mess extremely easy.

This is a great little handheld vacuum. Although it isn't super light because of the battery, it is well balanced so it rests easily in your hand as you vacuum. I used it in my car and on outdoor furniture where neighborhood cats sit. The brush attachment works well on that. It's probably the most powerful handheld I've ever had. It empties and cleans easily.

I bought my first Hoover-Air Cordless Handheld Vacuum about a year ago. We recently purchased a lake house so I was travelling with the vacuum between the two locations. I decided I couldn't do without it at either place. I recently ordered another and love having one at each place.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jswobe Nice handheld vacuum that actually vacuums; good battery...but just an adequate charger
This handheld vacuum uses a lithium ion battery and comes ready to rock out of the box. I was able to attach the battery and immediately start using it. It comes with two tool attachments: one is a crevice tool, the other is a small beater bar-style head. See my pics.
It has fairly good suction, considering its size. It is, in fact, better than similar sized handheld vacs that I have used in the past. Generally, I am of the opinion that they are no good. This one, however, runs well and does a good job of sucking up dirt.
The battery does not charge while in the tool; you have to remove it and place it in the charger. The charger has keyhole slots for mounting it on the wall. I have it hanging in my pantry. I would prefer if the entire vacuum hung on the charger and the battery was able to charge while attached. As it is, the charger and battery are wall mounted, but the vacuum itself and the two tool attachments are basically loose, until I fashion a wall mounting system for them. That ultimately equals clutter somewhere (for me, in my pantry). I would like to see some sort of wall mount organization device.
The manual does a good job of detailing the battery and charger specs. According to said manual, there are two different batteries - a regular life and extra life - and two different chargers. One charger requires only two to three hours to charge the battery; the other charger requires nine to twelve. Unfortunately, the battery and charger included with this tool are the lesser versions of each. Personally, I'm OK with the battery as this isn't the kind of tool you are using for extended periods of time. However, I would have preferred the faster charger, especially since I cannot understand the reason for making a slower charger or how that lowers the price point (but that may just be me!).

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by dutchgirl Powerful handheld vacuum for quick vacuuming jobs!
This is a powerful handheld rechargeable lithium battery-operated vacuum for quick cleaning jobs. It does a great job picking up smaller particles of dirt, such as crumbs of food, sand, etc., and the included crevice tool is convenient for vacuuming corners and cracks and crevices where dirt may get lodged. It also comes with a brush-roll attachment which, in my case, works wonderfully in picking up pet hair from my furniture. This handheld vacuum works as well at picking up all kinds of dirt as my regular-size corded vacuum. The motor never even gets warm, I think that's what the "air" feature refers to, so no chance of accidentally burning your skin on the motor. The dirt cup with filter is very easy to remove with the quick-release button on the front of the vacuum. You do have to remove the filter to empty the dirt cup, but that is also easily done, and both are easy to put back in place as well. The crevice tool as well as the brush-roll attachment are easy to put on and take off again. An additional nice feature is that the brush from the brush-roll attachment can be removed with the click of a button on the side, which allows you to easily clean the brush itself. In my case, hair always gets wound around the brush.
I am a bit less impressed with the life of the lithium battery. It only lasts about 20 minutes of continuous vacuuming between charges, and the battery model that I obtained needs to charge for 9 hours (for a full charge), so that's why I'm saying this handheld vacuum is good for quick cleaning jobs. Per the instruction booklet, you can get another model of charger where the battery only needs to charge for 1.5 to 3 hours.
Another thing is that, while vacuuming, hair and dust tends to stick to the filter (see picture), rather than settling down in the base of the dirt cup, and I wonder if this somehow affects battery life by using up more power.
I'm also not sure about the "wet" feature of this handheld vacuum. I have used it to vacuum up a few drops of water, however, the instruction booklet that came with it says not to use it on wet surfaces.
Negatives aside, I'm happy with this cordless handheld vacuum for everyday quick vacuuming jobs.
