Very good suction, separate attachments for hardwood floor and carpet, roller mechanism for carpet cleaning is very powerful.
Built sturdy, easy to assemble and handle: does a great job. We are satisfied with the product. Definitely worth the dollars.

Loved the colors and great suction.
Pushing the vacuum forward was fine, but pulling back towards you was extremely difficult.
Perhaps the brushes were put in backwards? Hated to do it, but had to return it! Everyone who tried it felt it was too difficult to maneuver!

This vacuum worked well for a sort amount of time. Unfortunatley it stopped working due to overheating very quicky. I was told to clean / change the filters to make this work again.
However when I tried to purchase new filters I found I could not purchase them anywhere. Even on the hoover website (continually out of stock). Now I am let with a vacuum that I can't use.

I purchased the machine on boxing day this past Xmas and just loved it...until this weekend. I was vacuuming and it overheated and stopped. I checked all filters and hoses for clogs and left it for an hour. It started again but only long enough to get my carpeted stairs done and then it stopped again. Haven't tried it since but it BETTER START tonight and keep working.
I also find the wand hard to detach from the handle and my carpet beater doesn't stay down. I will try loosening the two screws and hope that helps. Don't like the attachment holder placement. The attachments hit my leg when I pull back and they fall off so they always stay in the closet. They say it's the quietest cyclone machine. My tender ears DON'T AGREE.

I was a little put off when I seen how small the vacuum actually was. But I figured I wouldn't judge it until I used it. My gosh was I shocked at how well it worked this little pony is a huge work horse. I wanted to see what happened if I vacuumed with my old vacuum first then went behind with the new one, I was shocked at what it picked up . I thought I was cleaning pretty good. This little beast picked up stuff I didn't even know was there. Probably the cleanest my floor has been in years. I would highly recommend this product best vacuum I've ever used

This is an additional vacuum for under beds and dressers, etc. I have a Shark small vac which works great and has a 20+ foot cord. But in the first bedroom - a double sized kids room - 14 x 14...a little problem after another. The right wheel with the filter will not stay on. The exhaust air bursts out there and any little bump will release the filter and cap. I finally just vacuumed without it....I know, dust into the air, but the cup caught the hair and carpet lint. Also when I was finished, the bucket was really full and I discovered as many others have, if you carry the apparatus by the top handle it doesn't take much for that handle to come off and your bucket of lint and dirt is on the floor. I swept it up and wheeled the vacuum to the kitchen where I could mop if it happened again. That 'bowl' shaped bottom is a bad design. It doesn't empty, even if you shake the the canister. You have to tilt it over and over to empty it.
When I finished with the hall, and was emptying again, I realized that the red cyclonic filter had lint and long hair wrapped around it inside a plastic casing. I found that the instruction booklet has pictures of a past model and had to call HELP to figure out how to work the red filter loose. A very nice lady answered 13 minutes later and with help from her materials, we figured it out. It wasn't hard, the models were just slightly different and confusing. So short cord. loose top handle. bucket that doesn't really empty. wheel filter that pops free. HOT. Yes, hot to the touch.
PRO: I need to clean under beds. Kids are kids. A cat is a cat and is going to hide there on stormy days. I will tape the loose parts together and use it in the bedrooms only. But I'm using the Shark lightweight upright for the rest of the house. Recommendation: How badly do you need to get under furniture? That's what this is good for. Yes Minus rating.

Bought this vacuum in late 2013. Worked great for the first several months. But it's been a cascade of maintenance and trouble ever since. Inexplicable clogs, accessories breaking, and now a complete shutdown of the motor. There's nothing extraordinary about what we're doing with this vacuum--no pets, no use outside our home, weekly use at most. Not impressive.

We bought this vacuum a
Month ago. The cord barely has enough length to vacuum two rooms I have to keep unplugging and plugging it back in to change rooms. Also the bristles seems to just push the dirt away when vacuuming hardwood you have to lift the attachment and place it right over the visible dirt in order to suction it up. My honest opinion it's a terrible vacuum and no where near worth the price.
