Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rosiediy Best steam cleaner I have ever used!
This is indeed a commercial steamvac, and it's heavy duty construction shows that it is very well made. it is a little heavy to use, but the cleaning job it does is so excellent, that any effort is worth the reward of the cleaning job it does. I have 3 cats, and they cough up unpleasant things from time to time that have deeply stained my rugs. This steam cleaner has gotten every one of the stains out, and no other steam cleaner I've ever used has done that. Well worth the money! Buy it if you can - you won't regret it!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DBFBK This carpet cleaner is easy to use and cleans good too.
The Hoover carpet cleaner is very easy to use, just like a vacuum cleaner, and it cleans well too. It would be even better if the materials used were sturdier, but if you handle it with care it should be just fine.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by ScottB Hoover Warranty? Nope
Hoover's Warranty is ONLY for the Motor and the "unit". The unit does NOT include the cheaply made clean water tank! Day one this seam--poorly engineered at the bottom--on this part failed. Hoover is "sorry", but that part is not warrantied!
Hover, I am never buying ANYTHING with your name on it again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beaver The Hoover Commercial steam-vac beats them all
I've owned plenty of carpet cleaners over the years but most of them lost the ability to clean my carpets because all the options and micro pumps prematurely failed. The Hoover Commercial steam-vac carpet cleaner beats them all with a commercial size motor that not only scrubs well, but sucks the liquid dirt better than any other cleaner I've ever owned. I thought my carpeting needed replacing but one easy cleaning with the Hoover Commercial made it look like new again. It's also been built to last...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Zacci Very good product for the money.
We bought this as we have aging pets and our carpets need cleaning frequently. I love the ease of use and the way it cleans the carpets. It gets the stains out completely and leaves the house smelling fresh and clean. The carpet is not left soaking wet - dries very quickly.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Paul PERFORMS WELL WHEN IT WORKS
I've owned two Bissell cleaners and four Hoovers.I've had the basic spinbrush, deluxe spinbrush, currently own the max extract 60 which was in the shop having a motor replaced for the second time after three months from the first replacement.I went out and bought the commercial cleaner which did a better job than the previous ones, but guess what, the brush stops working after two weeks.I don't have any small children but I do have a german shepard that will track the carpet downstairs depending on the weather.I normally only have to clean the area she tracks, not the entire carpet.Hoover cleaners I feel perform better than Bissell, they're not as durable.Hoover did replace my max extract 60 with a new one due to the length of time it was taking to get my motor replaced.I asked the repairman which brand does he receive the most of for repairs and he stated he gets more Bissell.I guess I must have the Hoover curse

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MarineMomma Does what it supposed to do
I have had my Hoover cleaner for 2 months now and have used it enough to rate it. This unit cleans pet stains well. I like having the rotating brushes and it leaves the carpet less wet than my other name brand product. I really like having the extra long cord so I don't have to unplug and replug during use.
It is heavy, but being a commercial unit I wouldn't expect anything less.
I only wish it had a heating unit for the water, but for what it is it works very well.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beefy Powerhouse carpet cleaner!
I've had several other brands over the years, and this cleaner is built well. I've used it over 10 times already because we have three cats and two dogs that seem to not realize the mess they leave behind. The included solution was enough to completely shampoo our large living room twice. My only complaint is my unit came with screws that were 1/2" too short to connect the handle to the unit. Service sent even shorter screws so I just cobbled together my own solution. I read the reviews of this unit before buying, and they all say that any problems you might have come from not seating the water tank correctly. It is a little tricky to get right, but there is a satisfying click when you do get it right. Only time will tell if this cleaner outlasts the other brands. I'll try to remember to report back after two years!
