Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 55 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Roller brush made of cheap plastic Hardly used it like 15 times since I bought(1.5 years), the rotating ends of the roller brush worn out and came loose. It started making noise and not able to vacuum. December 26, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed I received this vacuum for Christmas 2014, it is now March 30, 2015. I went to use my vacuum today and the roller brush will not spin. We took it apart and the plastic pieces on the ends of the roller brush are deformed and will not spin the brush. I am very disappointed in this product as it only lasted 3 uses!!!!!!!!!!! Now I have to pay $30 to replace the brush, when I only need clips (as the brush is fine). Never had this problem with my dirt devil!!!!!!!!!!! March 30, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great at first but then... We have owned nothing but Hoover in the past. We've had the vacuum for about a year and a halve and it was great. The suction was good, it was light and easy to carry and we were pleased. The only negative at the time was the attachments are cheap and the hose is short. All of a sudden the roller stopped working and that was fixed. Then a few weeks later the motor went and the machine won't even turn on. It has been trashed and we purchased a new Dyson about 2 weeks ago. May 7, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poorly made I bought this vacuum cleaner 4 months ago, to replace a heavier cheap one, which still works, thinking Hoover was a good brand name. A week ago, the roller stopped working. The belt was good, roller free rolls, the motor went out that controls the brush turning. It will cost almost as much as I paid for it to replace it. Very disappointed in Hoover, making a cheap product that doesn't last long. The money I paid for it, it should of last along time. February 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great vacuum / lousy attachment I actually love the vacuum, it's lightweight, small enough to fit in areas my other vacuum could not, has great suction & an easy empty container. My Only complaint is the hose attachment, it's very short and hooks to the wand (which is the actual vacuum handle) but the clip easily comes off. It's frustrating trying to use the short hose in the 1st place only to have it continually unclip itself every time you change angles. If they fix that 1 problem they will have a true winner with this product. September 16, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lightweight, easy to maneuver, but nozzle falls off easily Initial vacuum/suction performance has been good. It's quite easy to use given the light weight and maneuverability. Lightweight = smaller dirt canister, so be prepared to empty more frequently. The biggest negative is the ease with which the nozzle falls off when using it in nozzle mode. If you read the reviews on Hoover's site, you'll see a few descriptions of this condition. Hoover actually replaced mine with a different model after I made a replacement parts query on their site. The time and hassle associated w/that path wasn't part of my expectations when buying which is partly why the mid-range ratings. If the nozzle issue hadn't occurred, I would have rated much higher. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Thought I loved it... but it's a brushroll pig Purchased my Air Sprint in September 2014. LOVED it. Great suction, cord length was awesome (much better than anything else I'd had), it was light weight so I was constantly vacuuming the stairs with the hose attachment (+the handle wand and brush tool) and didn't have a problem with the clip for the hose (though I see whereas a lot here have), nor the length of the hose, but it's so lightweight I could hold it as I did the fan blades, etc. Somewhere around November, I noticed it started making a funny, growly noise, so I took it apart to clean the beater bar (again - it's a regular activity around here with 2 long haired humans and a medium hair dog) - and the plastic cap on my beater bar was no longer attached. Kind of fitted everything back together and hoped for the best. Not effective. $33.30 and a new brushroll later, and I had my vacuum back! Or so I thought. My first sweep through the house was perfect, just like old times, and I had my handy-dandy little lightweight super-sucky (in a good way ;) ) Hoover back! The second time I vacuumed with my Air Sprint with its brand-spankin-new beater bar... it started growling again!!! Took it apart and sure enough, the #@&^($! end piece on the bar was unattached. Again! That's kind of how I ended up here today. After vacuuming the past few times with my old Dirt Devil that I despise on the carpets and the Hoover on the bare floors, I am on the computer today looking for my new vacuum so I can go back to only using ONE of the blasted machines. While on my search, I thought I'd look around to see if it's just me and my machine or if this is a standard issue - I've decided it's a standard issue. Seems pretty pointless to have to replace a $33 piece every couple months for a vacuum that was apparently worth way less than the sum of its parts. R.I.P. Air Sprint. I will no longer be feeding you brushrolls. March 7, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Quality I bought this vacuum 8 months ago. Use it max twice a month (not a lot of foot traffic at home). It started making horrible noises and finally the brushroll stopped rotating so it won't pick up anything. I found out one of the plastic caps on the end of the brushroll was all dis-formed and wouldn't stick on anymore. I did not pay over $100 for a vacuum not to last at least a year. Very disappointed!
