Excellent suction and like the long hose. Ability to turn off the brushes for hard floors is a welcome feature. Using a bag is much better than the bagless vacuums being sold. More features and better performance that more expensive options. The brush cleaning/vacuum attachment for stairs and upholstery is very useful and powerful. Short on attachments so I saved some from a previous Hoover that also fit this new one.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Professor better than my old Panasonic
The vacuum has performed very well during the month I have had it. The vacuum's suction is excellent, and the adjustable height dial for carpets is very useful. The price I paid was less than my last Panasonic, and I like this Hoover better. Only negative so far is that the telescoping extension attachment has a habit of collapsing while in use.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by susanirene Cleans well, but very heavy!
My husband found that this product had good reviews which is why we purchased it; however, I have found that it is very heavy and takes some 'oomph' to push it forward. I work out and am in great shape, so I am disappointed that even to me this product is difficult to move around.

This product was missing the crevice tool when received. The vacuum has great suction but is a little hard to push on our carpet. We had a self-propelled vacuum previously but that feature was a higher maintenance option which we tried to avoid this time.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Caligirl Hoover Wind Tunnel Max!
Overall I am quite satisfied with this vacuum! The attachment hoses are not as user friendly as my old Hoover, and the width is a little wider than I'd prefer, however I would recommend this product.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Unlucky I made a poor choice
I bought this vacuum cleaner 5 months ago. I have vacuumed 3 rooms in our house once a week for those 5 months. This week the beater bar (brush) froze up and needed replacing. This is not covered under the 2-year warranty so I had to pay for that along with a belt that drives it. I'm not happy having to do this.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ColoradoKid Good vacuum at a reasonable le price
This replaced a 15 year old Wind Tunnel self propelled. I chose this non-self propelled model as it is lighter weight for hauling between my two levels. It is light-weight and easy to push on my ~ 0.5" pile carpets (and on the next to lowest carpet pile setting!). But be aware, this is not for plush carpets - the manual says to not use the roller brush for carpets with a pile over 1". It appears to do a good job sucking up the dirt. I like how easy it is to simply step on a large push button to go between my carpet and hardwood floors. The hose is longer than my prior model so the upright does not tip over easily when using the hose and attachment. The crevice tool has a fairly large round opening - not as good as other crevice tools - so I'll just save the one from my old vacuum. I don't have pets and my upholstery is mostly leather, so have not used the powered hand tool. "Assembly required" means you need a Phillips head screwdriver and the ability to intuitively figure out how to assemble it as the directions were pretty vague. But there is only one way to put it together.

Very nice sweeper for the money. Not to heavy, long hose and cord. Cleans very well.
