Hello - this is Nancy from GE and I am happy to help you.
If you would like to use the power cord from your old electric range, we recommend that you first consult your local electrical code to verify that the cord you have is permitted for your new installation. An electrician or the dealer should be able to assist you in this regard.
I hope this is helpful. Thank you for contacting GE!

Hello MelanieR,
This is Donna with GE and I am sorry to hear you are having a issue with your Hotpoint range.
While we understand that you would like to repair this yourself, an accurate diagnosis will involve the use of an ohm or volt meter. Unfortunately this repair is beyond the level of assistance that we can offer over the web.

Answer:
Hello,
This is Donna with GE and I am happy to help with your question on the range.
Model # RB757DPWH and all Free-standing ranges have a temperature range
of 170-550 degrees F.
The reason for 170 being the lowest temperature; food is more susceptible to bacteria when kept warm using lower temperatures.
I hope this is helpful!

Hello Valued Home Depot Customer,
Thanks for your question and interest in this item. We will haul away your old range when we deliver your new range. The agents will connect the stove for you, but you will need to purchase the range cord item #M933 - RANGE POWER CORD 19.99. This can be ordered when you place your order online.
What’s Included in Free Delivery & Basic Service?
All freestanding (does not include built in cooktops, wall ovens, drop ins, window air conditioners, through the wall air conditioner units, etc.) electric appliances will be uncrated, set in place, leveled, tested and connected to an existing proper power source. If proper electrical outlets, gas shut off valves, water supply and shut off valves, or venting sources are not available at the time of delivery, a complete hook up will not be possible.
Basic hook up service does not include hook up or removal of built-in appliances such as wall ovens and cooktops, though in some areas consumers can purchase the hook up of gas appliances, dishwashers and over the range microwaves (OTRs/Spacemakers) at an additional charge.
The new appliance will be tested to make sure it works correctly. All packing materials will be removed, and your home will be restored to its original condition.
Certain complex installs, such as gas appliances and dishwasher installation, may require the purchase of additional services from a certified plumber or electrician. Please contact your local The Home Depot store for additional details in your area.
The installation must conform with local codes, or in the absence of local codes, with the National Fuel Gas Code and the National Electrical Code. If you have questions or concerns about your installation, please call our Appliance Support Line at 1-800-455-3869.
Thanks.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fills Need Perfectly Great new replacement for my old appliance - very budget friendly. Delivery and set up within minutes - perfect. May 31, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding value Just received this Electric Range yesterday and couldn't be happier with the purchase. It has a very large oven with even heating, burners heat up quickly, large digital clock, timer, a handy drawer for storing baking/broiling pans and a nice oven light. It's Bisque color fits in with our other appliances as well. Again, I couldn't be happier with the purchase. December 24, 2009
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great value Nothing fancy, but good solid range. The temperature seems more accurate then previous range and is definitely more space in oven. July 2, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hot Point electric range Stove has a nice appearance. I like the black standing out. I had to calabrate the oven temperature as it was off 30 degrees. The instructions were very easy to follow. Had no trouble resetting the temp. Would recomend this range. August 29, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent for the money I just needed a basic stove without all the do-dads. This stove does everything I need. April 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Would defintely purchase again. From purchase to delivery to customer service was very professional, that is why I make all major purchases with Home Depot, thanks October 5, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by New Range I bought this range from Sears, and am happy with the appearance of the stove, however, I am still trying to get used to the differences from my old one. The large burners are on the opposite side and the front one is the one I use the most and this one is on the right, where I don't have as much elbow room and when I fry, it splatters up my coffee pot. I had it leveled when it was delivered, however we had to do it again, since it was not level with regard to the burners. The stove top was level and the burners were way off. It is better now, but far from perfect. Some burners are more level than others. I like the oven, it is accurate on temperature and that is the main thing. May 21, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by budget purchase Have owned only about 3 weeks. Gets the job done. However appears cheaply made. Must follow up on the warped lower baking rack that is still in the packing tape. The rack material is much thinner and softer than the racks in my former stove. The bottom storage drawer must be opened from the side because there isn't a sufficient finger hold to open from the front. Wish now that I had seen in store first. Delivery was great though.
