Don't think so. I believe it disassembles from the front.

Can this unit be converted to LP gas, what is the additional cost?

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes-I had to get mine converted to propane. Someone from the propane company that I have, came and installed the part for me. They didn't charge me anything. I had called them first, so I don't know what other people/companies would charge. But I do know that it can be converted......Debie

Customer Reviews

6.8 cu. ft. Gas Dryer in White is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very efficient and good value Dries quickly and has a huge load capacity. Very streamlined and efficient. The lint bin is a little lightweight, but works well if you clean it after every load. Great value for the money if you are looking for a basic dryer without a lot of extras. Very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this dryer Not seeing this dryer & only ordering it on line because of the price. I was kind of scared. But this dryer is excellent. Features on it are perfect for me & it is also big inside. Easy to put clothes in and take them out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great dryer with a excellent price! The dryer exceeds my expectations! My 12 yr old dryer finally died and I needed a new one. I did not want a lot of fancy features because I wanted something easy to use. I did not want to read a book to use my dryer. My new one is easy to use and works great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Basic dryer that does the job well. The dryer is basic, which is what I wanted. Love the light inside. My only criticisms are that the filter is flimsy and the buzzer is loud and I can't turn it off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for the money I have been very happy with this dryer thus far. It was a good value for the money. We didn't expect a spectacular appliance, but it's definitely done the job well. Nothing fancy, but it dries our clothes efficiently and relatively quickly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a great dryer. Quiet and efficient This dryer fit in the space I needed and can handle good size loads. Normal clothes seem to take about 30 minutes to dry. It is quiet and efficient.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy and simple to use dryer. Simple and easy features. No instructions in book on why it buzzes or the different cycles. We just guess. Dries quickly. Large drum but fits in the small space we had for it. Would buy again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does The Job My priorities are lint screen NOT on top, NOT computer controlled, large capacity, and gas. This dryer is the few that meet these criteria. I had some concern in that the drum material in some specs say plastic. It is not: metal with plastic paddles. Interior light is a nice touch. The actual lint screen is a small area – half the size of my old dryer. Clogs pretty fast on towels. I had to install a propane conversion kit (GE# WE25X0217; Amazon) so I had to tear into the dryer before I ever used it. Kit installation is quite simple. However— Wow, they have sure cheapened dryers since I replaced my 20-year old one. I suppose they’re all like that now days. I do wish they would put a half inch longer gas inlet on the thing. It is almost flush with the back of the cabinet. Since I had the gas valve out anyway, I added an extension to get the gas line installed. There is not enough room to install an elbow to keep the gas line from hitting the back wall, for instance, as delivered. And I’m not sure there is even enough room to get a wrench on the inlet to tighten a fitting. As I say, I had the whole valve out anyway. Also, the rear of the dryer is not flat. There is a bulge of 3 or 4 inches. Maybe they wanted to be sure the vent pipe didn’t get kinked. But my vent is through the wall and my old dryer could go right up to the back wall. This one cannot. Runs quiet enough. Auto sensor works. End of cycle buzzer works (and can’t be disabled for those with sleeping children). So I am an expert after one small load: No real regrets so far.
