Caseydalpal - that's NOT what I'm asking about. I'm aski g about the molding that's in the picture of someone's home not the HD photos! I can clearly see that the HD photos are a front and side profile.

Answer:
i would measure each room and then calculate the number of pieces needed. i doubt every room in the house would take crown but a room by room approach is how I would tackle the quantity of product needed.

Answer:
You need to know the linear measurements, which measures just the perimeter of the room. In order to do this divide the square footage by 2.1. The square footage measures the area of a room. I hope this helps.

Answer:
It depends on the perimeter of each individual room where you want to install it, not the square foot of the house.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 30 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to Install Once you Figure out Molding Jig Spring Angle This is my first time installing crown molding. I replaced my entire houses baseboards with the same type of MDF material and it turned out to be quite easy. The trickiest part about crown molding is the cuts. I started in a room with 45 and 90 degree inside and outside corners and it proved to be frustrating at first, but once I bought a Molding Jig it made things much easier. I would suggest starting with a small room like a powder room or office and work your way to bigger rooms as you get better at the cuts. Looks great once installed! July 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great deal and looks you wont regret it, good quality and looks, price is great August 30, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Shrinks in winter months! I've had this installed now for over a year. It looked great when it was first installed. After the summer we turned our heat on (we live in Maine) and it shrunk. Not a little either... There was a half inch gap everywhere it had been cut. Thankfully we only did one room so we left it as is. When Spring time rolled around I noticed the gaps weren't as big. By the summer it was close to where it should be. Then again in the fall / winter it came back apart. August 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First Time Crown Installer I always wanted crown molding in my home. I didnt want to pay the cost to have it done so I've been watching you tube for almost 2 yrs and finally got the nerve to try it. I started small with the powder room that is 36 x 90. I chose the House of Fara because of the size and clean lines and price...its somewhat in the mid range as far as cost is concerned for me anyway... it seems to be open stock too, so I can take my time and do one room at a time. Mitering was not easy at all...3 good pieces and one upside down...what frustration just when you think you have it right...lol...soo I chose to use the corner blocks and not miter. What took me 12 hrs of hitting and missing...I completed in about 3 with the corner blocks which do not require mitering. I'm going to use them in all the rooms of my house...and I'm sure it will only take a few hrs for each room. This was truly a learning experience to remember and the House of Fara crown Moulding and House of Fara Corner Blocks look absolutely stunning even if its a powder room. May 10, 2016
