Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product. No issue I like the design and height. Hard to fine stock baseboards this high in one piece. Doing this with separate pieces will cost 4x the amount. As a DIY homeowner, I found this product just as good if not better than finger joint pine boards. All boards are perfectly straight. The boards are only 8 feet - longer boards require less cuts. I found that shipping caused damage to the ends. About 1 in 8 had a problem with them, usually a dent in the top at some point NOT at the end, which essentially means the board can only used for short runs. Several had a dent in the very end, but that was easy to cut off. When you get to pick your boards yourself, you don't have to worry about this. Also, I recommend buying in batches of 8, as I think that is how many fit in a standard box. If the box is full, they won't slide around and damage themselves. I have ordered about 35 boards in several shipments for the first floor and basement. I used 5.25 contractor pack finger jointed pine boards (stock at HD) for the second floor. A note for those considering 7.25 inch boards - you will need a sliding miter saw or maybe a 12 inch blade (maybe). With boards this high, you cannot point them up along the fence as they are too high. And laying flat, a 10 inch blade does not cut the entire length. Without a slider, you will need 2 cuts for every board. And if your saw does not bevel on BOTH sides, you cannot cut the board at a 45 degree angle. Moreover, if you do not have the right saw, I don't see how it is possible to do a quality job. I ended up buying a Rigid 10 in slider (which is awesome BTW). Lastly, with so many contours in the board, you must have quality cuts to make the boards line up. If your floors (or cuts) are off, then it will be substantially harder to make the boards line up. I underestimated how difficult this would be when I purchased these boards. Finally, with so many contours in the board, it is requires more effort to dust them. Just keep that in mind...
