Can you tell me the diameter of the pole? I have an umbrella hole in the concrete of my pool deck and was hoping this would be the correct size to fit in that hole

Answer (1)

Answer:
Hi Doug, Uninstalled, the dryer is 6 feet tall, so the highest line will be between 5 and 5.5 feet off the ground when installed, depending on how deep the pole is set in the ground.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great happy with product, had one before lasted 6 years, used same hole for new one, June 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Well made and easy to install Seems to be of really good quality however very dissappointed in clothesline itself. Appears to be plastic with no cable support inside like that in regular clothesline cord. Has stretched so much I can't hang clothes on it without it sagging. Hope it will only stretch to a certain a,out then quit. Otherwise nice clothesline. July 21, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by umbrella was installed step by step and is still unleveled. I purchase this clothes line June 2014.We installed as I mentioned step by step .It is un leveled.it is lop -sided so you have to hang clothes some here, some there to try to keep it leveled otherwise it looks like it is falling over. Any suggestions would be appreciated I love to hang my clothes out side during spring + summer. Had pulley clothes line gave up for this. Thank You Edie April 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works well The dryer works really well. It was easy to install and doesn't take a lot of space. You do need to plan the order of hanging clothing so that small things go in the center where the lines are shortest. My only complaint is that the longest line lacks about a foot of fitting a queen size sheet. That said it's not hard to just run it around the corner to the next side. August 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy Laundry When I first moved into my community, there was a restriction - no outside laundry drying! Due to a "green" law passed by the state legislator, the restriction had to be lifted. The umbrella dryer I purchased is very easy to remove out of the ground anchor when I am finished using it. I did not wish to have "permanent" drying lines erected, therefore this is a perfect solution to having my sheets smelling air fresh! July 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good for clothes, but not large items I love this clothes line because you can fit about 3-4 loads of clothing on it, and it spins. On the other hand, it is not very practical for sheets/comforters. August 19, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Deal The pole came in two sections which I wasn't all that crazy about. Once I put it together it went up quickly and seems reasonably sturdy. July 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Alternative to using the dryer Love drying my clothes outside. This umbrella clothes line replaced a much smaller two line clothes line. I enjoy being able to put out 2-3 loads at a time, having the wind whip through the clothes and drying them without effort. Easy to put up/take down. April 29, 2014
