This thing goes up in a flash! I especially like the ground sleeve that you can cement into the ground. The only complaint I have about the product is the "lid" on the ground sleeve. Poor design as it is secured with a hard piece of plastic that broke when we used it the first time. I'll figure out a way to secure it so it is not lost. Otherwise great product

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SimpleLifeMom Easy to set up, easy to use, and fresh smelling sheets & clothes!
Comes ready to set up. I used a heavy iron patio umbrella stand to set this up in my paved alley (not in the ground) under cover from direct sun. Had to cut off a bit from bottom of pole for reasonable height. If in direct sun, you could throw an old sheet over it to protect clothes from fading. If putting up next to a wall, slice open tennis balls and stick them over the corners to keep them from marking walls. Minimal challenge getting the top to slide up. Plenty of lines for hanging clothes, including heavy Levi's (I hang them to even out weight on lines). No rust steel, so it will be up now forever! Also great for hanging comforters out to refresh and drying painted artwork by kids. Highly recommend.

Had only hung clothes one time and the clothes line " cord" was fraying. Had to purchase another type of clothes "line" and it's been a pain to tighten it just right. I did have another umbrella clothes line and had used it for years, wish it had it broken.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by GML Easily Bends
Is not heavy duty in the least. Brackets between the arms have bent on two occasions. First, with some snow on the lines, second, in the wind. Amazing that it doesn't bend with clothes on it! (How does that work?) And, the lines constantly need to be tightened. It would help if there were more lines of shorter length instead of having so many lines all done with the same cord. Would not buy another. Might try to make the brackets out of something heavier and, if I can't, trash this one. Would buy another somewhere else, but it looks like all the big box stores sell the same thing.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by cpr May even be better than the 12 year old one it replaced
This was a replacement for one installed in 2004. Was concerned it would require a new concrete anchor due to smaller metal post diameter. The plastic sleeve fit into present receiver snuggly and no additional work required. We never stored the previous one during the winter but this one is easy to collapse nd store, may be the last one we ever need.

Our son assembled the dryer pole quickly - no problems. It fit in the hole from our previous clothesline. Works well.

Bought this to replace a similar one that had broken. Assembly and set up a snap, especially since we already had the hole in the ground. If we had wanted to put this in a new location, would have needed to dig a hole and put in cement to hold it in place. Plenty of line space for our needs. I found it a bit short in height, but since I still had the pole from the old one, I cut off a short length of the old pole and added it to the new one.

Plastic lines that hold cloths are cheap. Very thin plastic that will dry out in the sun and break.
Metal parts are great and real strong once in place.
Easy to store and the birds love it.
