Answer:
Hi CMO. The dryer is rust-resistant. To keep it in good condition, we recommend taking it down during inclement weather. If the dryer is left exposed to water and air for extended periods of time, it will (unavoidably) rust, but it will take awhile.

Answer:
Hi Agawam. There may be one at The Home Depot that could be adapted for that purpose--I don't know about that! I can really only say that Household Essentials doesn't make a swivel mount for its parallel dryers. Good luck!

Answer:
You dig a hole about 20" deep with gravel at the bottom. Put a bit of cement in the bottom, then put in ground sleeve, pour more cement around it & let it set up. These are simplified instructions, and the ones included are very detailed.

Answer:
1. Plastic ground sleeve is designed to hold pole vertically yet release easily. Won't rust or seize. Attached cap protects against debris when not in use.
2. Dig hole 8 inches to 12 inches in diameter and 20 inches deep. Taper hold larger at bottom. Fill bottom of hole with small rocks approximately 3 inches deep.

6. Immediately run a small tube or stick down the center of the sleeve through the concrete until it reaches the crushed rock base. Remove the tube or stick. This will allow any water to drain.

Answer:
Hi co82untr7y. Yes this is strong enough to hold work pants. Just make sure you don't put all the heavy stuff on one line as it will stretch faster. Hang the heavier ones closer to the arms. If you need further assistance, please contact our Customer Service Department at 800-922-5524.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 53 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Clothesline This thing goes up in a flash! I especially like the ground sleeve that you can cement into the ground. The only complaint I have about the product is the "lid" on the ground sleeve. Poor design as it is secured with a hard piece of plastic that broke when we used it the first time. I'll figure out a way to secure it so it is not lost. Otherwise great product June 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by it's a clothesline We particularly like how easy this is to drop in our previous clothesline hole and then take it out and fold it up. That means that it is not out in all weather but only when we are actually using it for clothes. It should last a long time because of this. The shipping was really fast on this order. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to set up, easy to use, and fresh smelling sheets & clothes! Comes ready to set up. I used a heavy iron patio umbrella stand to set this up in my paved alley (not in the ground) under cover from direct sun. Had to cut off a bit from bottom of pole for reasonable height. If in direct sun, you could throw an old sheet over it to protect clothes from fading. If putting up next to a wall, slice open tennis balls and stick them over the corners to keep them from marking walls. Minimal challenge getting the top to slide up. Plenty of lines for hanging clothes, including heavy Levi's (I hang them to even out weight on lines). No rust steel, so it will be up now forever! Also great for hanging comforters out to refresh and drying painted artwork by kids. Highly recommend. August 9, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Easily Bends Is not heavy duty in the least. Brackets between the arms have bent on two occasions. First, with some snow on the lines, second, in the wind. Amazing that it doesn't bend with clothes on it! (How does that work?) And, the lines constantly need to be tightened. It would help if there were more lines of shorter length instead of having so many lines all done with the same cord. Would not buy another. Might try to make the brackets out of something heavier and, if I can't, trash this one. Would buy another somewhere else, but it looks like all the big box stores sell the same thing. August 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Had only hung clothes one time and the clothes line " cord" was fraying. Had to purchase another type of clothes "line" and it's been a pain to tighten it just right. I did have another umbrella clothes line and had used it for years, wish it had it broken. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So easy to install! My husband installed this [we had an existing hole to put it in that fit perfectly] in about 5 minutes. It is a wonderful product in all ways. August 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by May even be better than the 12 year old one it replaced This was a replacement for one installed in 2004. Was concerned it would require a new concrete anchor due to smaller metal post diameter. The plastic sleeve fit into present receiver snuggly and no additional work required. We never stored the previous one during the winter but this one is easy to collapse nd store, may be the last one we ever need. August 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product Our son assembled the dryer pole quickly - no problems. It fit in the hole from our previous clothesline. Works well. August 2, 2016
