CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Questionable construction What I received was a poorly constructed shelf assembly. Loose joints and number 2 lumber quality. However, with that said, I am handy enough to sand, paint, and glue for a decent shelf. Also, I think the dimension lumber cost if purchased alone may exceed the cost I paid for these items. Ok for home handymen (or women). Expecting flawless - don't buy these. Fair value for the price - not a penny more. Should be priced in the 8-10$ range. December 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Over A Door.... We used these instead of crown molding; above doorways. August 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good wood, poor construction I bought 5 of these and found them stapled with no glue in joints. Some were loose and coming apart in the box. Will have to take apart and reassemble with better joints, screws and glue. The wood is OK (pine). The finish is unsanded corners or edges. But being unfinished, I would expect that. They will do well once reworked. Another thing is that they have keyhole slots put in the vertical brackets to hang them on a screw head. This will not support much weight. I may choose to drill and counter sink holes in them to secure them to the studs in the wall. March 19, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Decent wood, poor construction. Needed sanding which is normal for unfinished wood BUT there was glue stains the length of the shelf which I have tried to sand off...I haven't tried to hang this shelf yet because of the finish i have to put on it. Im not crazy about the counter-sunk holes and pretty sure they won't be even so will be putting on my own hooks. April 21, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by OK ... Just About Worth What I Paid For It Very inexpensively made from builder's quality wood stock. Some fit issues with the pieces, but, considering the price, OK for an out-of-the-way wall shelf that's not going to be used to display nice things. "Utilitarian" would be the best descriptor. Better looking than a metal shelf. November 11, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looks like a DIY product When the description said "unfinished" I figured that meant it just needed to be painted/stained. I didn't realize that it meant that the wood still needed to be sanded! The shelf is attached to the brackets with staples that are clearly visible and the pieces are not flush--you see spaces between them. But I guess you get what you pay for--the price is certainly right. November 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by well made, lightweight and cheap! I needed a simple shelf to place on the wall under my flat screen TV to hold the converter box and DVD player that I can fashion to allow the TV cords to fall behind and this will suit my purpose by letting me add 1"x1" supports to the wall and then securing the shelf to those supports and give the space needed to allow for the cords. It is a cheap fix that won't look cheap in my bedroom. September 4, 2013
