The stool turned out great once my husband sanded it down. It arrived with black scuff marks and splashes of white as well as green paint on the top like it was used in the hardware department. I stained it after it being sanded and it's fine now.

This is the 2nd time receiving this item. The legs are not glued on properly and one time the top part had a split from one end to the other. Best advise is secure/install the legs a bit better. No reason for me to be buying glue.

Stool comes unfinished - be prepared to sand just a tad if you want a perfectly smooth surface to work on. Great for the price!

I like the wood and the stool is just the right size for my grandson's 'time out' chair, but two of the legs were completely loose, no glue at all. I had to get the legs glued in place before doing anything else with it. I think the quality control person should have caught that. Once that was that was taken care of I was able to proceed with my painting and it will make a very nice gift for him.

Bought 4 and all needed work. 2 legs in bottom of box. all legs loose. instead of returning tried glueing and even that had mixed results. 2 were OK but 2 were not. Do not get this unless you want a project. Yeah, the wood was OK. What happened to American craftsmanship or just pride?
