I had been looking for a wooden groom tote but was only finding ones that were to expensive! This was easy to build and with a little spray paint it was exactly what I needed. The only thing that would make it better would be a couple of dividers. I even ordered a second one for my daughters to use on there horse. Home Depot has a fun glitter spray paint I will try for them!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by HT Looks great, hard to assemble
The box is very sturdy and looks nice, but it was not easy to put together. The handle was too wide for the holes and had to be sanded down in order to fit.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Monkey A little over priced for quality.
One side piece was 4 13/16 on one end, 5 7/16 on other. Makes for a distinctive slant. Did not fit together flush. Has that "homemade by amateur " look. I am using it as a garden tool tote so that imperfections are not a problem. A little over priced for what you get.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AnArtist good wood tool box
I ordered two of these to hold art supplies in my studio. In one of them, the long side pieces were slightly warped, so did not match up exactly with the end pieces — not enough to make me want to take it back and get a replacement, but enough to irritate me that it isn't perfectly flush. Otherwise, a solid kit.
Oh, and skip the little wood pegs to cover the screws. The way they're cut, they wedge into the holes and start to split the wood. You're better off without them.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CubScoutDenLeader Cub Scout Wolf Achievement #5
Purchased this product to complete Cub Scout Wolf rank achievement #5: Build something useful.
The boys range in ages from 7-8 and were able to complete in one hour.
We read the instructions during the den meeting (35 minutes) and agreed on what tools were needed (wood glue, Philips screwdriver, sandpaper) and then I divided the instructions where each boy was responsible for one of the tasks. During a second meeting (60 minutes, on weekend campout), we did actual assembly. It was a four step process but needed hands-on adult to align toolbox ends once glued. The sides had notches so that the screws went straight in, appropriate to strength and dexterity of boys. The size and depth is useful for adult-size tools and I hope it will remain a keepsake.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nateroo brings back memories
This is a great little nostalgic tool box kit that brings back memories of my late dad's and uncles' tool boxes. only drawback is the bottom platform, it's just fiberboard and wished it would have been wood like the sides and ends. I added my own bottom to it. Also the handle dowel could have been maybe 1/4" thicker to give some strength confidence if carrying basic handtools. Other than that, GREAT wood toolbox like the old days!

on a whim, they were on sale, loved the idea of them, very happy I did! Using them to organize various gardening & art tools & supplies.
Simple assembly instructions, sections well cut, everything lined up well, very little sanding required. I like them unfinished, but you could stain or paint.
