Product Overview

Thunder T1 Noise Blocking Headband Earmuffs - Dielectric. Thunder series earmuffs are designed with all-day comfort in mind. Thunder headband earmuffs feature a unique dual headband for better positioning and breathability and a non-deforming outer headband that minimizes pressure on the head. Plus, its dielectric construction withstands use and abuse, while protecting workers in electrical environments. The Thunder series features patented Air Flow Control technology for optimal attenuation across all frequencies and also snap-in ear cushions for easy maintenance. Howard Leight's patented Air Flow Control delivers optimal attenuation across all frequencies, without increasing ear cup size or weight. A patented base plate chamber and high-tech, non-woven layer, manage the flow of air inside the earmuff to control how sound reaches the ear. The result is better, more consistent, overall attenuation for virtually all industrial noise environments. Air Flow Control is a standard feature on all Thunder series earmuffs.

  • Dielectric construction suitable for all workplaces, especially electrical environments
  • Uniform headband pressure for all head sizes, providing better comfort for long-term wear
  • Non-deforming outer headband withstands rough treatment in the toughest workplaces
  • Quick-click height adjustment remains fixed during wear

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 19 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EARMUFFS - a GREAT Product Our school purchased the earmuffs to support students in focusing and concentrating on individual class assignments. They are effective in reducing/eliminating the normal classroom noise and chatter. Every student wants to have a pair! The students who use them feel very special. We especially liked the price and could afford to buy several pairs. This started off as an experiment; however, it is meeting with success. They look great - like on a construction crew. The boys do not mind wearing these earmuffs. The color is good and the product is easy to clean. This product is working well for our students. September 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Good quality and good for the diy average guy. Weight is perfect. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Effective I was looking for something inexpensive I can put on my ears when attending loud events (concerts, etc.) I figured since construction workers use ear protection, I'd check out Home Depot. I was very pleased to find these earmuffs at such a reasonable price, plus, I had plenty of time to return them if they didn't work out. I am very happy with my purchase. So much easier to use than earplugs (which would usually work themselves out of my ears), and work just as well, if not better, at muffling loudness. I also like that they are light-weight, yet seem durable. If you like going to loud events and value your hearing, I HIGHLY recommend getting a pair of these or something comparable. April 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice for the price Purchased these for the grandkids to use when riding the tractor, they love them. April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Useful Product for child My great grandson uses these headphones while we work in the yard with loud power equipment and flying in airplanes, seeing as we travel. These headphones block noise so that they do not damage his hearing. My grandson wears these while he rides his John Deere mock lawn mower. September 13, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by protect my ears at shooting range Got these to protect my ears at the shooting range, works good. January 20, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value These might not be the BEST quality, but they do the job. They block noise nicely. Good fit. Light weight. My local store only had some expensive brands. I didn't want to spend $50 for something i might loose or break. Fairly fast shipping, considering them came from UPS ground from back east, about 5 day wait. Fast pick-up at store. Bought 2 sets. Very pleased. Now waiting to see how they hold up long term. September 22, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by For small heads I guess I should have looked at the reviews closer. They are all from females or to be used by children. I have an average sized male head (7 1/4 inch fitted hat size) and these were too small. Even when fully extended, the band pressed pretty hard into the top of my head. October 18, 2015
