The down rod for the new ceiling fan was very simple to install and looks great. I also ordered the down rod and other items online and that process was very easy and I got all of my items quickly and best of all, nothing was damaged.

Was perfect. Have a vaulted ceiling. This did the job to lower the ceiling fan.

We had purchased two Hampton Bay fans for our dining room and living room in our home in Haiti (where fans are almost a must!). After they were shipped via container, I realized we would need longer downrods due to the vaulted ceilings in those rooms. After getting some good help from the online chat section of Home Depot, I had two three foot rods shipped down, and they are working well, even though I had to use some creative ingenuity to mount them on the angled ceiling. The fans move plenty of air and the LED lights provide lots of light without the worry of replacing bulbs all the time. The longer downrods help get the fans low enough to do the most good.

Wish I would have gone into the store to buy this. The one they sent was rusty on the end. Luckily, I was able to cut off about 3 inches where it was rusted. I didn't have the time or desire to return it. Other than the rust, it was fine and did the job.

Fit my ceiling fan and put it at the right height. Color matched as well, but then again, I also bought a Hunter ceiling fan, so it better!

Works well, however the ground screw threaded hole doesn't fit standard group screws.
