what is the pitch of the fan blades and what is the flush mount height from ceiling to bottom?

If the pitch on these fan blades are standard, do you have a flush mount fan with light kit that has a higher pitch to move more air. I am having trouble finding a flush mount fan with longer blades.ros

I could not let the first answer from Hunter lead you or others astray. When they replied that pitch and blade length do not determine airflow that was an incorrect response. They did say to look at a products CFM (cubic feet per minute) rating, basically the calculations have been performed and provided which keeps you from having to ascertain what it may be - however blade pitch, blade length, and motor RPM are the factors from which airflow / CFM are determined. Some are directly proportional but each has an effect that will impact the others such as increase the pitch and you can run the motor at a lower RPM and get the same or better CFM. Without going into all the math, yes use the calculations provided by the company but remember blade pitch and blade length do matter, they matter a lot Read Less

Thank you for your interest in a Hunter product. The pitch and length of the blades do not determine the airflow. We recommend considering the CFM's in reference to airflow as well as the room size however the pitch of the blades are 12 and the fan hangs approximately 11.45in. Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 32 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AMAZING FAN!!!!! I've read a lot of reviews before purchasing this fan and I have no regrets. This fan really puts out a lot of air and its amazingly quiet. I am using it in my living room/kitchen, which is right over 450sq ft and the air started to move a hand towel that I had in the corner of the kitchen. All the parts were there not missing, and for all those people who said it was dented or gouged they didn't read the description or see the display it says "DISTRESSED LOOK" for the blades it supposed to look that way. It has this rustic look makes my living room look great. Overall great value moves a lot of air and its an energy saver. February 17, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BEAUTIFUL FAN CREATES A GREAT QUIET BREEZE Bought this fan because it didn't come with a light kit, was the oiled bronze finish, and a simple design/form. Replaced an expensive fan with integrated light (which I didn't like for the great room), that was already up when we bought the place. I knew I wanted a fan that didn't have a light kit, was sleek, and reliable. Therefore, I confined my search to Hunter brand fans because of their reputation for being reliable, sturdy, and beautiful with timeless styling. We are very pleased with it. It is quiet, creates a soft breeze, and is elegant. Highly recommend. December 1, 2010
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hunter needs better Quality Control I purchased this fan and thought it was a great value. After opening it to inspect all the parts, i noticed that the blades for the fan were pretty badly damaged. There were gouges, scratches, and in some places, even holes in the fan blades. The box was not damaged at all, nor was the wrapping on the blades or the paper laying in between them. Clearly this happened prior to the blades even being packed. I had purchased this item online. When I went back to the store to try to switch out the blades, they had 2 in stock. Both of these had exactly the same situation. The fan blades were horribly damaged. I returned this and purchased a fan from another company. I will try Hunter again but will definitely be more wary about purchasing their products online. January 10, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thrilled First off, you cannot beat the price. It is very attractive (we were initially surprised with the worn look of the blades, but its nice). It is extremely quiet. It kicks out air like no other. I can't tell you how many times i have had people sit in the same room as this fan, and tell me that it feels like air conditioning. We're moving and i am putting one of these in the new house as soon as we get there. August 4, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful bargain! I shopped around A LOT for ceiling fans...even a high end specialty lighting store in Nashville. Nothing came close to the look and value of this fan. It is so beautiful and just different enough from all the other basic fans out there that it looks like a higher end fan. The distressed blades are cool! I added a Hunter 4-light kit in the same finish that I ordered on line and, WOW, it's fabulous. January 14, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is a geat fan We had been looking for a ceiling fan for months. When we found this one we hit pay dirt. It is a great fan and helps keep our home much cooler. This is the second one that I purchased and they work great. Perfectly balanced and quite. I am thinking of changing out two more fans in my house with the Greenwich 56". I would recommend it to my friends and family. September 27, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by price marked up online I saw this great-looking fan in the store, and they were out of them and would not sell the display model. It was only available online ... for a lot more money. The fan is well-made, easy to install, and very attractive, but if Home Depot can sell it in a store for one price, the online price shouldn't be that much higher.... June 26, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice looking fan but came damaged This is a nice looking fan that I bought for our family room with high ceilings. It really adds a nice rustic look to the room. However, the product came totally damaged. Each one of the blades has dent marks all over it. Home depot really needs to work on their quality control. May 8, 2013
