I've installed a lot of fans at various houses I've owned. I didn't find this one to be any more challenging than others except that you really have to get the wiring up into the ceiling box to make the bracket cover at the ceiling fit tightly. Once I got enough of the wiring up there, the cap slid right on. The space is tight due to needing to fit the remote receiver up into there. Like others have commented, the instructions don't tell you where to put the receiver or even mention it at all until you go to make the wiring connections. Once assembled, my fan didn't wobble at all or need any adjustments, it seems rock solid. Airflow seems good and no issues with the remote. The included CFL bulbs are ok, they make a slight buzzing sound when they are first turned on but i plan to replace with LED bulbs soon anyway.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Texn worked less than a week.
Installed the fan seven days ago. turned the lights off with the remote last night.Today the fan nor the lights will work, with remote or pull cords. breaker is not tripped. To be fair I haven't changed the battery in the remote but it doesn't work no matter how close I am and the light on the remote comes on and flashes if you try to use secure exit as it should.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by conrailbob quality of finish questionable....
more challenging to put up than I remember from previous fans. to install without light kit, you had to go to their website for more info. the finish was flaking off of parts of fan .fortunately , they were able to be hid by adjoining parts.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sam Good product not excellent
Trouble installing screws at ceiling base. Holes were over drilled. had to substitute with larger screws that are not the same color as base.
One globe had a chip but the factory sent out another when called.
Read instructions Chinese lights will flicker if remote is not set on full bright.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kerplunk Nice fan w/light
Really like the looks of this fan/light - goes well with our Rock Creek light. Installation was much easier than the previous fan/light we tried - the balancing weights were included (we didn't have to call and wait for them like the previous product - not Hunter brand). Operation is quiet; remote is simple.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Coco So far so good
Bought three of these for three bedrooms. They are pretty big (recommended for living rooms) but move tons of air which are perfect for the rooms w/o AC. My only complaint is the bracket mounting wood screws. I followed the directions and drilled the recommended pilot holes and still stripped 5 of the 6 screws (two per fan). I ended up using same length in thick deck screws w/ the provided washer. If you are able to I would throw the provided mounting screws as far as I could, but I don't know if this would void a warranty (I never read those anyways). All in all... minus the additional time removing the stripped screws... it took about 45 mins to install each fan. I'll be getting medallions to hide the remaining boxes.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Charlie1961 Very nice fan for the money.
We needed light in a few of our bedrooms which all 4 bedrooms in our house has 22 year old Hunter Infinity model fans in them, we went to add a light kit and they were no longer made, so we decided to replace the existing fans with a new model with a fan and light kit together. They were easy to install, the remote feature is nice, they were a good value for the money.
