Bought these to replace standard sprays installed by the home builder because the coverage wasn't even and my yard has a slope. These MP Rotators are just what I needed to even out the coverage and to apply the water at a slower rate to reduce run off. I no longer see my money running down the street and into the storm drains. I do wish Home Depot would carry the entire line of MP Rotators and the adjustment tool.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bill Hunter irrigation products-well worth the price
This type sprinkler head is the perfect choice to deliver small quantities of water over a long period of time. Hunter products are getting harder to find, but are well worth the search and price.

I have mp rotators in my front back and side lawns, I tried the rainbird mini rotors and the hunters are superior nozzles. The mini rotors you have to team up with other gear drive sprinklers the mps you use by them selves saving water. The mini rotors don’t have the range the mps do I easily get head to head coverage with the mps where I couldn’t with the mini rotors. I’m recommending these to everyone I know. I’m using MP2000, MP3000, MP3500, left strip, right strip, side strip, and corner.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by aclmvh Better than sprays, but....
Easy replacement installation into an old Toro popup spray head. This rotator head is superior to the spray and offers nice coverage, short, intermediate and long. Limited distance- probably 12 feet diameter circle. Best used with others of the same type that overlap.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by j355 Rotator spray head for a pop-up sprinkler
This rotator head provides better distance throw and coverage than the previous spray heads to give me better coverage for the watered area. I have several in use. Watch packets closely as they have different gpm values and must be purchased as full 360, 180, 90 degree coverage and are not adjustable as are the turret type pop-ups.

In 2013 I requested the local water conservation district reviewed my irrigation systems. One of the products they recommended was the MP Rotor as it does well in high wind areas. I researched the recommended products and purchased the MP Rotors. I also replaced the valve bodies with the Hunter 40 psi regulated valves (also available in 30 psi,) which sadly are not carried by HD. I purchased the MP Rotors in adjustable arc 90-210, 210-270 as well as full heads in the MP 1000, MP 2000 and MP 3000 series and placed each as existing line spacing dictated. (Again, HD does not carry some of the MP models so they had to be ordered).
The system coverage has been drastically improved. I attribute part of this to the pressure regulated valve bodies which provides even water pressure distribution to all heads on the line, and a good part to the water distribution of the MP Rotors, especially in wind.
I purchased the inexpensive Hunter head adjusting tool ( not carried by HD) and adjustment of arc and radius is really easy and quick.
I have nearly a half are and 2014 is the second year for the system. I am really happy with the result of the pressure regulated valve bodies and MP heads. I definitely recommend them, and I encourage HD to expand their line of MP rotors as well as offer the pressure regulated valve bodies.
