I don't know but Hunter Fans will. I have called them many times regarding lights, extensions, etc. The number is on the website. 888-830-1326 I do know that Hunter fans usually don't work with after market products.

The blades are a very sturdy plastic. Interesting design: there is a ridge on the top and they are flat on the bottom. You will never need to flip them over. They seem to be good quality. The Hunter Mariner is an excellent outdoor fan overall.

Hi, there! Please contact our tech support team at 1-888-830-1326. You need a replacement gasket that will allow it enough clearance for the chain not to be in the way. We hope we are able to help!

The Marine Indoor-Outdoor light kit should work for you....but if this fan is installed outdoors, you'll need to make sure that the light kit you use is the rated for outdoor use too.
We carry several selections online here so you can view them.

Hello Jim,
The Mariner (59127) cannot be flush mounted but it does come with a shorter down rod. The measurement from the ceiling to the bottom of the fan is 12.66 inches. Have a great day!

Mariner 52 in. Indoor/Outdoor White Ceiling Fan is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Wet rated fan I bought two of these for our balcony in Florida after having installed the same model in a screened in porch ten years ago. They are of high quality and were easy to install.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from contemporary styling, works well, lack of extras a plus for my need I like the contemporary appearance of this fan.. Indoor installation, but seashore location, so needed outdoor durability. Lack of extras actually a plus for my needs: Did not want a light kit because low ceiling and wanted to minimize the presence of the unit. Old direct wiring so did not want a wall switch. Well protected packaging.. Blades reasonably well balanced out of the box. Quiet operation. Powerful air flow. Weighed less than half of the ancient fan it replaced. Only complaints are re installation and instructions. Screws of any given type are not all packaged together (seemed to be collected in packets randomly! though none missing). , instructions do not do a great job of visually differentiating the various included screw types, screw sets in packets are not labelled, Instructions are generic so do not specifically address / illustrate the unique features of this fan. (shipping ring, not shipping block which must be removed early on.). Rod did not fit into fan housing very well, would not turn very far in the threads (so a lot of thread exposed on the rod), and I scratched up the rod trying to get it to go further in with a rag and vice grips..

I purchase 3 of these and installed them on the ceiling of our lake house back deck. All 3 of them have now have discolored rings (the ones that go around the motor housing) as well as discolored seals (the one on the mounting plates that attach to the ceiling). I did a remodel on the house, and am adding a 4th fan. Although the same model is still available, the fans now look so bad that I am replacing them all. This appears to be an example of poor quality parts. All the rest of the fan looks fine, and functions great.

Quiet, good air circulation. Used 12" drop rods as my ceilings are slanted. Only problem was the direction booklet dosn't coincide with the actual product in many ways. I like Hunter - our old Hunters lasted 25 years! And we finally changed them out as 1 was damaged by an employee of a paint crew while working in our house-so we opted to change them all to match. Was surprised at minimal rust-hope these last also!

Installed in June 2008. No problems ever. They do show some aging such as paint peeling from the aluminum parts and some rusting stains, but we are 400 feet from the beach and they frequently get wet with the dew and fog. So I believe the name Mariner is appropriate. They move air very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fans! It has only been a month since we installed 2 of these fans on our patio but so far we couldn't be happier. They are very quiet and work great! Living in New Orleans one needs fans, year round outside but especially in the summer! They were very easy to install and would certainly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice fan Bought this for a screened in porch. The blades are heavy plastic and the directional switch is inside a little boot so it should stand up to moisture and humidity pretty well. Easy install with thorough instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Hunter products The only complaint that I have was the tight quarters for hooking up the wires(I had to use a swag line to connect). VERY quiet and seems well made. Durability is not known at this time(located in screened in porch)
