How many switches do I need? What type of switch? Does the nightlight have its own switch?

Asked by: LeoL
Thank you for your question! You can have either 2 or 3 switches connected to your bath fan. This will simply depend on how many are on your wall. The type of switch your need is an on/off toggle wall switch for fan & light usage. If you have 3 wall switches, then the night light can have its own switch. If this is the case, then your ceiling should have a power wire for the light. If you have 2 wall switches, then the night light will have to be wired with the fan power wire. In this case, when you turn on the fan the night light will come on as well.

3.0 Sones but Ultra quiet technology?

I read that anything above a 1.5 sones is considered more noisy. This product describes having "Ultra quiet technology." Is it still considered noisy in comparison to other decorative fans? Please advise. Thanks!
