This fan was used to replace the exact same one that died at 10 years old. It looks good, is very quiet... HOWEVER, it now uses 4 x40watt bulbs! Not nearly bright enough for a kitchen! Also, they are the tiny end chandelier bulbs. We replaced them with 60 watt, since that was all we could find in the tiny end bulbs. If I had ti to do again, I wouldn't use the same one because we needed more light!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jayme Wonderful fan!
Beautiful fan, easy to put together and well made. Perfectly quiet, smooth running too. All reasons I purchase Hunter fans. Needed 6" downrod that Hunter does not make, this was a pain, had to buy 12" and cut and drill it. Threads different so can't use another maker for the rod. Peaked ceiling and wall required specific length . The fan so far is awesome, lights are bright but not overwhelming.

This fan works great and looks fantastic, can't really rate the ease of installation - had it installed.

This fan was to replace a Casa Blanca that was 20+ years old. I had it installed by someone else, The fan is attractive, quiet, but still has a tiny wobble that could not be stopped in spite of balancing efforts. The only problem with installation was the same as one other reviewer had, which was with the mounting bracket. It did not line up with the regular electrical box and had to be bent to align it and then the mounting screws were too short to fit as they should have. This did cause a fair sized problem for a while, but after some bending and effort he made it all fit. He got one screw in and we used a longer screw from the old fan for the other side. The rest of the installation was fairly easy. There was one broken bulb and I called the Hunter number on the box and was told they would be happy to send a replacement, but I would have to pay for it. Having to pay for broken merchandise seems to be a poor business practice. It is not a matter of cost, but rather principle and customer relations. I am disappointed in what is supposed to be a highly reputable company for this.

I live in a Victorian flat in Sacramento; it gets very hot in the summer. I wanted an antiqued-brass finish fan for my bedroom to go with the vintage door hardware, and this was the best looking, best reviewed, most reasonably priced model. I've installed Hunter fans before in my parents' house so I knew it would be a quality product. Aesthetically, the brass and lighter-colored fan blades add to the visual warmth of the room without detracting from the vintage architecture.
Installation took about an hour, and I included the separately-sold remote control adapter. It was tricky to get it into the space under the crown of the fan, but my ceilings are too high to have to use the pull strings all the time. My fan kit had one defective light bulb, but Hunter support has sent me another with no hassle.
Now that it's up, it already makes a huge difference in air flow and temperature. Best of all, I can't hear it at all on full speed. I am looking forward to a lower AC bill this summer!

I bought this fan on line after buying another brand from the Home Depot store that had a loud "hum", so I returned it to a different store with no problem.
The Hunter Studio fan is very quiet. The fan did have a slight wobble, but was easily corrected with
the balance kit and instructions that come with the fan. The lights could be a little brighter, but they are

The fan was somewhat difficult to install because it was over a bed that could not be moved and it was a shaky situation. The fan itself works well, but I would not get another five blade fan because I have to run it on high speed to get the same result of a four blade fan I run on medium speed. Also I prefer regular light bulbs. I paid someone to install this fan.
