No it does not but I bought a remote control with a receiver and it is working great. The remote control was also a Hunter brand. I think it was around $38.

Only small base lamps. Mine are the standard 40W bulbs but there are higher wattage bulbs at the hardware store that have the small base.

Thanks for your question! Yes, the candelabra bulbs are the recommended ones for this fan. To ensure that no damage is done to the light kit or that it works improperly, please use the four 40 watt candelabra bulbs.

Answer:
Hi Michele! With this particular fan you would be able to use the CFL's as a substitute, but unfortunately you wouldn't be able to use LED bulbs. We wouldn't recommend using anything over a forty watt bulb, the light kit has a wattage limiter attached that only allows up to 190 watts. If the wattage limit is exceeded the limiter will short out and the lights will no longer operate.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 36 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very satisfied with our, coice Beautiful in looks, whisper quiet when running. Would buy Hunter fans any time. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great ceiling fan The fan was easy to install. Overall appearance is very elegant. The fan supplies plenty of air and the four lights offer sufficient light for the kitchen. The price and delivery were great. All in all it was a pleasant shopping experience. October 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Living Room Ceiling Fan The fan installation in my living was uneventful as per following the instructions (of course.) I was able to use the old light kit from an old fan without any installing problem. Once I started the fan, it was almost silent running. This may not be the case on all this brand or fan models, it didn't even require blade balancing. As most ceiling fan owners and user know this task can be so tedious or patience trying, April 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Annoying motor hum Three of the 4 fans have a 60Hz motor hum on all speeds. None are on separate fan controllers; they are directly wired to on/off switches. I warrantied the most annoying one (in my bedroom) with a new one and it has a hum, too. Disappointed in decline in quality - the ones I replaced were also Hunters that had run trouble free 24/7 for 20 years and the bearings finally got noisy (not unexpected). December 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is a great fan. It is a Hunter Fan...quiet and works great. We like it because it has four lights on it and they are 60 watt bulbs. The bulbs light up the room just fine. October 2, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quietly moves air We wanted to use this fan without the light kit that was included. There was no instruction to do this in the installation directions. Although there was a cover included. I had to unplug some of the wires and figure it out myself. It should have been included in the directions. September 15, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product. Quiet and balanced, Not All Parts work Everything installed without a hitch(pretty much). The mounting bracket to the ceiling has changed from round to triangular so I couldn't use the existing mounting bracket. The new bracket didn't line up with the mounting holes on the electrical box so I had to do some bending and hammering to get it workable. Then of course, after the necessary hammering and bending, the screws that came with the fan were too short for the cover to the mounting bracket so I was lucky enough to have some a little longer that would work. The fan itself is beautiful and it provides all the air we need. And it is the quietest running fan we have ever had. I would recommend Hunter fans to anybody. There was only one problem: not all of the lamps worked. One lamp was bad out of the box so I called the number it says to call and they are sending me another: unfortunately it is back-ordered. August 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to replace I replaced a 20 year old fan with this one. The job was quite easy and went quickly. Assembly of the blades took the most time. September 8, 2015
