No one seems to know! It went on sale 3/7/2014 and ends 3/20/2014. I thought it hasn't been available since I first saw it on 3/9, but now it looks like they never even had this ceiling fan in stock for the sale!!!!

Answer:
Hi Fanhunter, sorry but the manual listed on the web page is incorrect. The web page list the fan as a Type E model.
Hunter web site list the fan as a type A model. This fan takes a B10 bulb with a candelabra base.
It can be a incandescent bulb, or CFL or LED. It's the shape and base that need to be correct.

The bulb type is listed as candelabra. Does that mean it does not take a standard incandescent or coiled compact florescent bulb?

Answer:
Thanks for your question! The only bulbs that can be used with this fan is the candelabra base bulbs. The used of any other bulb is not recommended.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful but keep extra chain on hand I installed this as part of a bedroom reno, and it looks gorgeous with my dark cherry furniture. As someone very sensitive to electrical noise, I'm very happy this runs almost silently on all speeds. I'm giving this four stars instead of five because the fan chain is delicate. I could tell from the start that it was, so I was careful whenever pulling the chain; however, it broke after about a dozen uses, and it rebroke twice after I repaired it using the original chain. It held only after I replaced it with heavier chain and connectors. I'm still extremely careful when pulling the chain and keep extra on hand, just in case. This isn't a problem with the light chain because it doesn't wind through the fixture like the fan chain does. August 7, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by You can't go wrong with this fan. It is beautiful and well made. Because it is so quite and balanced you won't even know that it is on except for the nice air flow. If there is one draw back it is that the lighting is not overly bright, more a soft glow. If you have other lighting in the room you shouldn't have a problem. I bought three of these for bedroom fans and couldn't be happier and would certainly buy them again. Nice value for the money. I priced these fans elsewhere and would have had to pay about $100.00 more. Thank you Home Depot!! May 16, 2010
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice looking fan Bought these for eight foot ceilings. The color is nice, the blades are well finished and the glass light is shallow, not hanging down very far. I have plenty of natural and recessed lighting, so don't mind that they won't accommodate bulbs with full size sockets. Haven't hung them yet, but even though Hunter isn't the product it was many years ago, (anyone remember how darn heavy those old fans were? You actually had to oil them) I feel sure the fans will perform as advertised. June 12, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Fan I purchased four of these for our home. They arrived in just about a week, and were packed well. The new system that Hunter has developed to hang the motor is terrific and each of the fans contained all the parts required and were up in about a hour each. I highly recommend this fan to anyone looking for a good value. The only negative comment I have is the amount of styrofoam used in the pacakaging, but it did achieve the purpose by protecting the parts. July 24, 2010
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice fan for the price I installed 4 of these on a 9ft ceiling. Fairly easy install. Only complaint is Hunter doesn't tell you which wire is for the light and which is for the fan. As a result it was trial an error and I had to switch the wires at the switch on the first one. Also, threading the chains through the globe was a major pain. The fans are quiet and offer lots of clearance with the flush mount design. Overall an very good value and an attractive, functional fan. February 14, 2010
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice fan for the money Received fan a couple of days after ordering. Instructions a bit confusing (with some errors), but the installation went fine - about 1.5 hours (taking my time). It was wired into a 3-way dimmer for the light and a wall control for the fan in my kitchen. It is quiet and smooth, even at high speed. Light could be a bit brighter, but is fine since it supplements other eyeball lighting. Not a bad fan for the money. October 18, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Buy and It really works! Easy to install and operate. On sale, it is a screaming deal! The only funky thing was threading the fan pull chain through the center light (when doing so, make sure you do a good job connecting the extension chain b/c if it unhitches, you need patience and finger dexterity to rehook). Every visitor so far (put one in our guest room) complimented us on the nice airflow and look. It does the job! April 6, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Ceiling Fan Purchased 3 of these for a low ceiling. They are very classsy looking. The picture's don't do them justice. All 3 fans run beautifully. They are well balanced and very quiet running. The only bad thing I can say is the light switch on one of them does not work properly after a few uses. The other two don't seem to have any issues at all. And they use regular light bulbs so that is a plus for us. December 17, 2010
