Now that Ducanes are history this is the only cast aluminum gas grill around. Built to last a long time. Can reach over 550 degrees. Worth more than asked.

The grill shipped via UPS. It did not have a printed copy of the manual, so I had to view it online while assembling the grill outside. Not the easiest thing to do, but it worked out OK. It took me about 2 hours to assemble. There were one or two places where the instructions were unclear and I had a hard time (made harder, I think, by trying to see them on a laptop screen), but ultimately figured it out. The screws to secure the front panel on the cart were too short and I had to buy longer ones. Upon fitting the lid onto the assembled grill I saw that it was cracked. Called HD customer service and they immediately shipped a new lid. I've cooked on it twice and am happy with the results. I've only cooked for two people, but it seems there is plenty of space for up to 4, maybe 6 or 8 depending on what you're cooking. My only complaint is that it's hard to move and rotate, even though it has wheels. The side tables are plastic and leave little room to hold on when trying to move the grill around on the patio.

I love this grill so far. I was easy to assemble. I think I used three wrenches and a screw driver. Assembly was done in less than 45 minutes. Everything fits together well and seems to be engineered well. I could have used a helper when installing the pins that hold the top on. There are two plastic trim pieces on the front that are not very secure but there's no real harm if they fall off. The grill cooks well with minimal flares. The heat is even across the cook area. The thermometer seems to read cold. I like the sturdy cast iron grates, heavy stainless steel over the burners and cast aluminum box. I expect this grill to last longer than some grills two to three times it's price.

Very good quality product. I was impressed. I didn't get printed assembly instructions but found them online, which were good. Used grill several times now and really like it.

Ordered on-line and had it delivered to store and has them assemble it for me. No hassle pickup so good there but when I went to use it I realized that the assembly wasn't very well done. Lots of loose bolts and connectors, some parts actually fell off and the cable to the igniter switch was just hanging not connected to anything. Hooked up a brand new tank and went to fire up the grill. No burn, even though I could hear the starter clicking. Went to the back up match method but still no fire. Verified that tank was good by hooking up to old grill and fired right up. Apparently when they assemble these for you they don't bother to test to see if it works before helping you load it up and take it home.
Return was no hassle so good there! Also, the assembly instructions were pictures only without any text.

Grill cooks evenly, Less flare-ups and with lid closed Aluminum body holds in the heat.
Good grill for the money.

This is a piece of junk. The basic materials are good quality but putting it together is a nightmare. The directions are extremely dense and poorly explained. I ended up hiring someone and it still doesn't work. Stay away from this one. Consumer Reports obviously didn't have to put their test model together.

This is one of the best cooking grills I have owned, but many of the plastic parts arrived broken. Onward customer service was very helpful though.
