Answer:
Don't know about on-line but my local store stocks them right next to the cutter. The should also be available from HD on-line but I rarely purchase small items from the web page so not sure.

Answer:
Yes they are available at Home Depot. You may also do a search on the Home Depot Website for the blades by entering Husky PVC ratcheting cutter blades. It is very easy to follow and they will show inventories of replacement blades at specific stores or you may order them as well

Answer:
This Huskey PVC ratcheting cutter will cut shedule 80 up to 1-1/4 inch. The difference between schedule 40 and schedule 80 is the inside diameter. It will take a bit more effort to cut schedule 80, but it will do it quite easily. As always, keep the blade in good sharp condition and replace it when necessary. Wear safety glasses!!!

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 37 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Cuts easily, but way out of square I bought this in hopes that it would be easier for my wife to use cutting 1" schedule 40 PVC. The cutter went through the pipe easier than the other cutters we have, BUT, there is a major design or assembly flaw in the cutter hinge. There is so much slop in the fit of the blade between the forks that the cutter can, and does, wander pretty much wherever it wants to thru the cut. I tried different holds and very carefully watching and trying to guide the cutter straight as it went through the pipe to no avail. On the up side it is sharp and seems to cut easily. The longer handle gives more leverage than the typical PVC cutter. If I was cutting lots of rope or other material where a square end cut did not matter I would say it is a great cutter. But if you are involved in projects like mine where you need to cut PVC pipe square on the ends you will end up making a trip back to the store, same as I did, to return the cutter. Too bad. With a bit of development and some better engineering it could be a great cutter. July 19, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Questionable Product As someone else has stated, this cutter slips while cutting 1" schedule 80 PVC pipe, therefore not allowing the pipe to sit flat or flush in the fittings. This tool did NOT come with a replacement blade, and is impossible to find LOCALLY. For $25+TAX they should have thrown in an additional blade (or two). July 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not buy if your pipe is 1 1/2 " I bought this to cut a 1 1/2 " PVC pipe. The description and packaging says for pipes up to 1 5/8". I could not get the cutter fully around the pipe, but I could manage to cut the pipe I have, but the blade cuts a quarter of the way and cracks the rest of the pipe. I would not have bought this model if I had known that it would not cut 1 1/2 " piping. Total waste of time and I'm going to return this and see if there is a bigger cutter. March 4, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great tool for the price. I use them on 3/4" PVC while we're piping hog farms. So that means ball park of 100 cuts a day. The blade lasted about 3 months and then shattered. I initially was let down but the quality and ease of cutting was nothing but excellent up until the blade gave in. The replacement blades cost $9 and at first I was let down that they weren't sold in a 3 pack or something but compared to competitor's blade its pretty cheap for quality performance. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Seriously question the quality of this pvc ratcheting cutter. Promoted product overview: "Use this Cutter for PVC, CPVC, PEX Pipe, wood, thick rope, branches, and an endless array of items that are otherwise very difficult to cut." Well, I cut the bottom third of a plastic bottle of hand scrub/wash and the inside spring mechanism broke. Now the blade will not swing open when you cock the handles apart. Am returning this cutter for replacement and we'll see if the replace tool can do its job as advertised. Would not recommend this product right now. January 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WOW Just made my plumbing job simple. GREAT TOOL !! Great investment. January 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by To all the 1 stars who say it wont cut 1.5 inch diameter.. PVC pipe is measured by interior diameter. The outside diameter is more than the interior. SO grade 40 pipe of 1 1/4 diameter (interior) has an outside diameter of 1 5/8. Hence this will cut up to 1 1/4 pipe, and so it's correctly described to cut 1 5/8 outside diameter. As you can see they have changed the title to reflect 1 1/4 cause it confuses ppl who are new to pipe cutting. A 1 1/2 inch pipe has an outside diameter of 1 7/8 inches. There was no false advertising. Grade 80 pipe has an even longer outside diameter for the same interior. August 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by best purchase ever I prefer Rigid when it comes to plumbing tools. I was in need of a new cutter but did not want to pay 55 bucks. I was at Lowes one day and they had a kobalt on clearance for 10 dollars. i litterally had to place the handles on the ground and apply body pressure to the handles on only 3/4 pipe. They went back. So i went to Home depot and purchased these cutters, simple one hand operation, absolutely no problems what so ever. Great Product. October 2, 2015
