1/2 in. 500 ft. -lbs. Impact Wrench is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong and versatile with clever features The drill has a light weight feel to it but still seems durable. I like that it has built in forward torque settings. The 3 settings help on most projects when you are concerned about shearing off a bolt head from over tightening. There are three sized circles. The larger the circle the more power. The reverse is always full power. I was surprised too that a 1/2 inch impact was as quiet as it was. Quieter than most other wrenches. Good buy overall

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap feel right out of the box Right out of the box, at the bottom of the handle there's a flimsy plastic cover (with holes over the little balls inside) just wouldn't fit correctly so it would slide and eventually the balls would fall out. If you adjust the screw too tightly, the end would break off, or the plate would bend. Either way, I don't see that piece to last long for the life of the tool. After taking off a couple of lug nuts on my trailer, the stubborn thing would not stop spinning even when your fingers aren't touching the trigger button. I could adjust the Forward/Reverse, fast & slow but can't make it stop spinning on its own. Took it back. Willing to pay a little more and will never buy another Made in China tool again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Impact Gun! What's The Problem? I just purchased this impact gun. It's being used on a Craftsman 30 gallon compressor and 100 ft of 3/8 air line with filter to remove moisture and a inline oiler. I am working on my Harley Davidson and the bolt on the transmission shaft is torqued to 180 ft. lbs. and the counter shaft sprocket on the engine is torqued to 150 ft. lbs. This impact gun removed the bolts like it was nothing. Perfect!! Remember I'm operating through 100 ft. 3/8 air hose. I even tried the impact gun on the lugs nuts on my car. Took them off like a hot knife through butter. This impact gun used more air than the others but, man is it quiet! I am very satisfied with the overall performance of this impact gun. Can't find any faults with it. I think I made a great buy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Generic use, yes. Competition use, no. My worst fear had come true. I really liked the price of this gun and it was convenient being that fact that I wanted it now for the work I'm going to do. I've done my research of reviews and yes, there are ups and downs about it. Short story, the gun couldn't remove any of my flywheel bolts what so ever, NOT the 500 lbs torque Husky claimed. Although I like the three settings, this gun is more for generic use. I am keeping it only because I need to get my other generic work done. As for my flywheel bolts?! Yikes! Back to old school hand tools and breaker bars to get them off. Next time, just label it 150 lbs of torque for that price and I wouldn't complain one bit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of JUNK!!! Luckily I picked this thing up on clearance and only had about $30 in it. I set my 33 gal compressor to 90psi and it could hardly break loose the lug nuts on my wives Dodge Nitro. I was able to get one of the rotor bolts off before it blew a gasket. I will never go cheap again. I wasn't expecting the highest quality but I figured something to help change a tire wasn't asking too much. No wonder they discontinued it!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Roll the dice with this one Alrighty….if you've read the other reviews, then you figured out that there are good ones and bad ones. I think it's totally roll of the dice. So, I rolled them and ended up returning it two days later after a gasket blew on the third try. I oiled the tool pre-use (5 drops) and set my 30gal compressor to 90psi and hit the frozen brake caliper bolt on my wife's car. The gun obviously lacked power right out of the box. There was oil seeping from back panel. I took it inside and found that the allen screws holding in on were totally loose. Tightened them down and went back out. Same issue. Sat on it for a night and went back to try again in the morning. Same issue. Gun lacked any power. Then on the 3rd try, air just started dumping out the exhaust on the bottom and the gun was basically dead. Took it back and got refunded. So - otherwise, I like the tool a lot. I just got a bad one. Probably assembled wrong. For 80.00 it's worth the gamble. It's quiet and handles well. I like the switches and 3 setting option, even though the plastic switch feels like it might break. So…. 2 stars. Try it and see if you get a good one and use it for light jobs. Otherwise, I'd spend 30.00 dollars and get the 800lb gun. Seems like it is the way to go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad description Not really made for taking lugnuts off. This was made for driving lag bolts into lumber which it does quiet well.
