1/2 in. Air Impact Wrench is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Now this is power I purchased this wrench to do tire rotations on my truck. It work great. After a few purchases and exchanges I learned that the problem was in the CFM of the impact wrench. As a DIY guy I have no need for a 40 gallon air compressor, and most impact wrench have a CFM rating of 7 or 8 which require a big air compressor. I have an 8 gallon 2 horsepower air compressor and it only kicks out 5 cfm's. This wrench requires that amount at 90 psi. It is also a twin hammer so it is smooth and alot quieter that the single hammer. If your looking for a powerful wrench, this will be the best $55 you will ever spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great impact gun for the price I bought this 1/2 inch impact gun a while back and I also bought the husky 3/8 inch impact gun at the same time. Both impact guns are used every day at my job. This 1/2 inch impact gun is rated for 350 foot pounds which I believe it is (when used with the proper air compressor). It has enough power to break lug nuts loose. But it gets used mostly for breaking lawnmower blades loose. I oil the gun daily like your supposed to and it seems to be holding up just fine. The gun has an adjustment knob in the back of it just like the 3/8 impact gun has. it has 3 forward speeds and one reverse speed. The trigger is easy to modulate. So fare both the this 1/2inch and the 3/8 impact guns are holding up just fine. For the price I payed I could not be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 350 ft lbs for under $30! I paid closer to $50 for mine. I use it to change to snow tires in the fall and regular tires in the spring on 2 cars. I use it to fix get my mower blade on and off for sharpening. I have used it for about 5-6 years now. I add a drop or two of oil every time I use it. I cleaned it and relubed for the first time ever in 2011. It spent about 2 days in sewage after Hurricane Irene. I also disinfected it! I cleaned it for a 2nd time this spring. A pin fell out near the bottom of the handle. It was a 3x28, about $1. The only thing that ever went wrong. Works well with an 10 gallon, 2.5 hp HF compressor that puts out 5.3 CFM.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK, but not really good I've had this for about 3 or 4 year now I think and it is still going. I bought this on sale with a ratchet, drop feed sprayer, long air hose, big connector kit, and other air tools goodies that Home Depot threw in a box for $75 clearance, so I cannot complain. It doesn't always break lug nuts loose or tighten them enough, but is nice for saving time cranking. So if you have light jobs and don't want to spend much, this is not bad. However, I borrowed a friends high-end impact wrench and...wow! For the extra it is well worth buying a better tool. Either the high-end Husky or other. Like I said, not knocking it for what it is. It is a decent value as a entry level tool

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Inexpensive but needs a pro compressor I repair wheels for a living and usually use an electric impact. My generator died and I have been waiting for the replacement so I bought this impact to get me by (taking wheels off by hand is not fun). After reading the manual, yes I did actually read the manual, I was concerned about too much PSI to the tool. I dialed back my paint regulator to 100 psi and could not break a lug off of a wheel. I switched to my direct air line for my air tools (150 PSI) and this tool worked liked a champ. I felt like I was part of a NASCAR pit crew. Remounting the wheels I used the lowest setting and it torqued the lugs perfectly. With enough air and enough PSI this tool works fine. I think that the cost of the tool makes some novice users think it will work with their inadequate compressors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not exactly as advertised I have no huge issues with this tool but it's not nearly strong enough for my needs. The website and the label in the store were a little misleading when compared with the packaging for the tool. The air consumption listed on the packaging was slightly higher (5.0SCFM) than what is listed online and the torque rating was only 300, not the 350 listed online and in-store. At first I thought I might have grabbed a different tool but the price and the model number lined up. It was more than powerful enough to remove slightly stuck lugnuts but did not have the power to do the factory-tightened suspension bolts on my Subaru. I was using this tool with a compressor rated at 5.4 SCFM @ 90PSI and a 3/8" air hose. For someone only looking for a tool to make tire rotations easier, this would be a good choice, especially at the price. However, if you want to do anything else with it, you might want to look at a tool with more power. I did ultimately return this tool after only a couple days of ownership because I needed something more powerful. Also, about 1 out of 7 times I would pull the trigger, the wrench mechanism would not engage; the tool would only hiss air out the exhaust. A couple extra drops of oil each time it did this seemed to fix the problem, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Value and Quality Wrench Just bought this after I read a couple of reviews and decided to give it a shot. Very impressed. I have a 20 gallon 1.8 Husky compressor and this wrench had no problems zipping lug nuts on/off car tires. For $55 bucks you won't go wrong if your a DIY like me!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Durable - Early Failure This wrench failed after only a few dozen uses. The swivel inlet became loose and air just flowed out of the exhaust delivering very little if any power to the drive. I replaced the 2 internal o-rings on the inlet, but that made no difference.
