Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Durable - Early Failure This wrench failed after only a few dozen uses. The swivel inlet became loose and air just flowed out of the exhaust delivering very little if any power to the drive. I replaced the 2 internal o-rings on the inlet, but that made no difference. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Junk I purchased the combo kit for 200 bucks and the only thing that worked was the spray gun, I have a 50 gal tank pushing 90 psi constant, i oiled the impact as instructed and I could literally stop the socket with my hand, so I went to menards and got a bostich for 75 bucks. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 350 ft lbs for under $30! I paid closer to $50 for mine. I use it to change to snow tires in the fall and regular tires in the spring on 2 cars. I use it to fix get my mower blade on and off for sharpening. I have used it for about 5-6 years now. I add a drop or two of oil every time I use it. I cleaned it and relubed for the first time ever in 2011. It spent about 2 days in sewage after Hurricane Irene. I also disinfected it! I cleaned it for a 2nd time this spring. A pin fell out near the bottom of the handle. It was a 3x28, about $1. The only thing that ever went wrong. Works well with an 10 gallon, 2.5 hp HF compressor that puts out 5.3 CFM. May 30, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Now this is power I purchased this wrench to do tire rotations on my truck. It work great. After a few purchases and exchanges I learned that the problem was in the CFM of the impact wrench. As a DIY guy I have no need for a 40 gallon air compressor, and most impact wrench have a CFM rating of 7 or 8 which require a big air compressor. I have an 8 gallon 2 horsepower air compressor and it only kicks out 5 cfm's. This wrench requires that amount at 90 psi. It is also a twin hammer so it is smooth and alot quieter that the single hammer. If your looking for a powerful wrench, this will be the best $55 you will ever spent. February 7, 2010
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by works for me I needed an impact wrench for tire rotation. My old one rated at 225 ft/lbs was useless. This one does free up the lug nuts on my truck but some of them just barely. It does seem to have some "hiccups". After I thought all my wheels were torqued I decided to check them with my heavy duty lug wrench. I checked 3 wheels and they were fine and almost didn't check the 4th. When I did the lugs were nowhere near torqued. The wheel probably would have become loose while driving. Maybe I screwed up and maybe not. Bottom line is it works for lighter duty stuff. I'll keep it but be more careful in the future. February 17, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tough to beat for the price. It's a relatively lightweight ⅜" drive pistol grip impact wrench. It's strong enough to twist off ⅜" bolts/nuts at full on or off if you work at it. It's not one hand reverse, you have to use your other hand to twist/reverse it. The free rotating coupling at the air inlet has two O-rings on it…the bottom one wore out on mine in about two years and the tool leaked air through the spring pin retainer hole…a $.50 O-ring from home depot replaced it and fixed it. I think the rotating coupling is superfluous; any quick disconnect already rotates (but saying that, the O-rings in the quick disconnect will wear and leak over a few years). You don't really need or want 150 lb-ft for ⅜" applications…if you need more than 100 lb-ft go to ½ in drive. And did I say, the price is right? March 8, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 1/2 " impact wrench I ordered this several months ago after reading the reviews. I didn't have a need for it when it first came in, but I plugged it into the airline to make sure it spun up. Recently, I tried to use it on a lug nut, it wouldn't work under load. I did put a drop of oil in it before use. Not only would not work on the lug nut, I could stop it just by gripping it hard. Way too late to return it, so a total waste of money. Getting one that works seems to be kind of chancy, so go with a little more money and get a brand that's reliable. February 20, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Garbage ,would give 0 stars if possible Save up for a decent brand, i should have known better. Not only came with the reverse side of the adjuster broken but very weak wrench. For those wondering, i have a 27 gallon craftsman pro that flows 7 cfm at 90 psi and 5 at 40 September 3, 2014
