Here's the good: these are 6-point sockets, they are very solid, and do go onto nuts/bolts easily. Here's the not-so-good: the size engravings are not very easy to see without inspecting the socket like you would have to do with any other impact socket. The finish is gritty, which doesn't faze me one way or the other.
Overall, these are just average impact sockets that are stronger than normal sockets & that don't break under normal usage.

There is no shortage of heft and weight with this socket set, which to me is a good thing. I could not foresee myself cracking or rounding any of these, even with a lifetime of household and shadetree mechanic work. I haven't used each yet, but the handful of sockets I've employed have done their job perfectly.
The only disparity between the description and the product I received was the part about these being "chrome vanadium." While the steel used may certainly contain both of those elements, these sockets do not have the shiny chrome finish one typically associates with chrome vanadium tools. They are heavy, matte black sockets. This fact did not really bother me, but it did come as a surprise.

Okay, there are 11 pieces [13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24, and 27 mm] and they all are 1/2” drive. They are stepped deep. And they are heavy ... 7 pounds.
But they’re not bright chrome finish and they’re not 12-pt but 6-pt.
And there’s no contrast to the etched sizing mark [difficult to read]. Think about rubbing a contrast color into the etch marks.
The socket rail is useless [can’t support socket weight in down position] ... you’ll toss that immediately.
Because they’re guaranteed forever, I’m not concerned with their durability.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by mjgil60 Socket Depth Not as it Seems
As with all my other deep sockets, I was expecting the socket depth to be continuous up & to the point where my ratchet/ impact driver was to attach. However, what I received was a deep socket whose inside hex was stepped down in size about half way down the length of the socket. So, instead of a deep socket, I really received a not so deep socket. Additionally, I received the sockets, all 12, individually thrown into a single cardboard box, LOOSE! By the time I received them, they were pretty beat up! All in all, this was not a good purchase.
