This is an 11-piece deepwall 12-point 1/2" drive socket set. It is a good basic set and should last for years with normal usage and care. The material is high iron content steel and will rust in time, so avoid getting them wet and store them in a dry location.
The plastic carrier is pretty much useless. The fit is so poor that the sockets easily fall of the pegs, so don't plan on using the carrier screwed to a wall for tool storage unless it is vertical instead of horizontal. Even then, the plastic pegs may break off due to the light construction and heavy socket weight.
The 1/2" wrench fit is good and not so tight or loose as to be a problem.
Pretty much normal sockets, no complaints. I recommend the set.

The 11 piece deep well socket set by Husky has a lot of good points making it a very user friendly set of sockets. The set has 3/8" thru 1" with 12 points on each one with inside slightly larger and yet still strong. The nice chrome finish with excellent large numbering telling the size makes it easy to see. I think with their design they will be real handy. A good price for a nice looking set.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JerryY They do their job!
They do the job. I used these sockets to do some maintenance on my jetski and trailer. I changed the spark plugs, replaced the bearings, and tightening wheel lugs. I've had cheap sockets break/slip before when tightening lugs but these did a very good job.
The specs say 6-point but these are 12 point sockets with beveled edges to increase the contact area of the socket to the bolt which prevents slipping, and reduces wear/tear on sockets and bolts.
These have good weight to them so they're not cheaply made like other socket sets you can get and they come with a lifetime warranty so I fully expect them to last a long time.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KitchenKing Nice set of sockets!
I've purchased many tools over the years, and have endured the trials and tribulations associated with them "not" working quite like you think they should, or "as advertised". These sockets have a good feel and weight to them, and actually "fit" the fasteners nicely. I'm pleased that they also "fit" my various ratchets and extensions like they were made for them, though they are different brands. These sockets are an excellent value and I think they'll serve me well for many years. A nice addition to the toolbox!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WilsonConstructionSD Good quality socket set
This is a good quality socket set for ratchets, which isn't included. Neither is a case so you should probably have a tray or box to store them. Great for a beginner, a tradesman who needs a few sockets but not an enormous set, or pretty much anybody looking to turn a few nuts and bolts by hand. Quality seems high and does what it says, not a whole lot to it but a no-nonsense set that should serve you well.

Had these for a couple of months and got around to using them on a garage project with recessed lags in concrete. They did the job without any issues. No damage to the bolt heads or sockets. I'll see how they hold up over time, but don't expect any issues.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Historian I Love Husky Tools, And These Sockets Are No Exception!
Over the years, I have always made-do with a mixed collection of 1/2 inch drive sockets. Some, I inherited, some I bought second hand, and a few I bought individually new for specific jobs. More often than not, I tended to use my 3/8 inch drive sockets because I had a wider selection, even though many of them were cheaply made. Then, I got this 11-piece set of Husky brand SAE deep-well sockets! In the set, you get a 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4, 13/16, 7/8, 15/16 and a 1 inch socket. They are made from chromed vanadium steel and have a chamfered opening so getting one onto a slightly out of shape or off-sized nut is a lot easier. They have a nice hefty weight to them as well as being cold-formed and heat treated for hardness. I can't imagine you'd ever break one, as stout as they are, but if you do, Husky has a "Forever" guarantee! Between this set and their 11-piece Metric set I also got, I now have most sizes that I will ever need, and will no doubt be using my 1/2 drive sockets a whole lot more now! For what little they cost, I seriously doubt you'd find a better deal on quality sockets! Thanks Husky, and Home Depot!
