Love this thing! I Love now having air and not having to move my whole compressor for things away from my garage. I use it for filling up tires without having to unroll a whole long air hose. I even took it to my mom's house to inflate an exercise ball for her.
It is very easy to unscrew the hose and install a quick-connect fitting instead, so you can connect any tool to it. I also used a knife to cut the tire chuck off the end of the hose, then used an "air hose repair kit" to add quick connects, now have a short hose for whatever need it for :)

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Vinny Handy tank, modified as an auxilary tank for my air sytem setup
Great item to keep around in order to inflate tires and other objects that are a distance from your compressor. Don't expect it to completely fill tires that are very low on air, meant more for topping off your tires that might be a little low.
I modified my tank so that I could still use it as a portable option but so it could also act as an auxiliary tank to my 29 gallon air compressor setup. Removing the stock fill valve was tough but manageable. I plugged one of the taps with a 1/8in NPT plug, added a 1/4in NPT Tee tap and from there added a quick connect female coupler, and a male quick connect fitting on an ball valve.
To fill my tank I use the male fitting and open the ball valve, once filled just close the ball valve and off you go, using the female coupler for the air tool of your choice. When I need to use this tank in-line with my larger compressor setup I just attaching it to my larger tank and leave the ball valve open.
This tank is also a great value. Sure Harbor Freight might have their 5 and 11 gallon portable tank options that are a bit cheaper but they are only rated for 125psi while this Husky tank can handle 150psi. Since I specifically wanted an auxiliary tank option and my air systems goes to 150psi this Husky tank was the best choice.

Needed to promptly modify for my usage, i.e. buy a kit with coiled air hose and nozzles. Don't recall seeing a drain petcock. But over all decent enough for the purposes of my project. Will do the job.

The Husky brand of tools has alway been reliable and a good value for me as a homeowner. This portable air tank fits the bill. The only negative was the open/close valve was inoperative right out of the box. May be a bad design but we will see. A call to the service department was quick service to send out the replacement part at no cost.

Nice tank for the money, good volume........ the on/off plastic tab is junk will not hold up more than a few times of use. A plastic round tab for on/off valve has lasted me for many years on another brand air tank. When u buy this tank also make sure u have a small pair of vise grip pliers to turn the air value and u will be O.K.
