How do you know if you are getting the high or low brightness mode?

The power button on the end of the flashlight has no markings, the flashlight has no markings, the packaging for the flashlight is not clear on how to attain the different modes / picture resembles nothing on the flashlight?? I just want to know that when I turn on the flashlight, I am getting the "high" brightness mode and not "low" mode.

Half-press the ON/OFF button on the end of the barrel to sequentially move from first HIGH, LOW, then STROBE FLASHING. Each half-press will move the setting. Personally, I half-press it once, then press it all the way to get the LOW setting, which is still pretty bright and what I use most often. With a little practice, you'll get it.
