Is the bag water proof or water resistant?? GR
Asked by: GR
The bag has not been treated to be water proof, it may be slightly water resistant, however you will need to treat it with a silicone spray or something similar to get any water proofing capabilities.

Can this bag hold hammers and jab saws.

Asked by: Husky
This bag could hold some hammers... It is 12 in long, so it really depends on how long the hammers or saws are. Regarding the toughness of the bag, it is more than tough enough to handle them... So, it CAN hold them as long as they fit. If you are looking at a large, heavy duty framing hammer (the behemoth of hammers), it probably won't fit. So, best suggestion, measure the hammer, see how long it is. You DO have some stretch and give in this bag because of the doctor's opening, so you can probably fit up to 14" hammer in it

What is the weight capacity of this tool bag?

Asked by: Trish
I have used mine to keep 15 lbs of gear and it has suffered no degradation--it performed remarkably well, even when I've held it for extended periods (i.e. walking a mile with this held solely by the handle.) Based on this performance, I strongly believe it would hold a bit more and agree with other reviewers that 20 lbs is about right for its maximum load.

This is a great product at a great price.  I definitely recommend it--you'll find that it's sturdy, spacious, and well built.  I've subjected mine to a surprising level of abuse and it has weathered it without so much as scuffing the fabric let alone rip a seam.  This is no surprise as it was designed to store tools, yet its got so much more potential.  The interior compartment can hold a variety of things and I can envision a number of different uses beyond storing tools that this product would be well suited toward.  It would be well served to keep emergency or medical supplies collected together at home as well as outdoors for people that like camping. Like several other reviewers, I use mine as a gear bag to store incidentals that I might need in my truck.  It has a few emergency supplies like flares, light sticks, and a flashlight as well as ratchet straps, a multi-tool, rope, gloves, and a knife/sharpener.  I also threw in a few game processing supplies during season.  It has enough room to keep everything well organized and at hand in the event they're needed.

They are constructed of tough materials and are very functional. I own 3 of these myself and I purchased an additional 13 to store my tablets that are used in My moving trucks. I also love that they can fold flat for storage when not in use. I would highly recommend these to anyone without hesitation.

It has areas (pouches) around the outside and a rather large inside pocket. I have one in the trunk of every car I have and I keep a first aid kit, straps, bungee cords and various different tools and sockets for the car in it. It's really perfect for that job. Thumbs Up

I've got 2 of these, one for all my tools in the car (holds a set of jumper cables and a small selection of tools without issue) and another for my daughter. Cannot beat for the price. Bottle of wood glue fits great in the outside pocket. Wife saw mine in the trunk and asked me to pick one up for her too.

I now have a couple of these for tools that need to travel between two houses. The 12" bag holds a good number of items, but if you need to carry something larger (like a pry bar) you may want to go to the 15" bag. However this bag works for my original intent and is really sturdy.
