After six months of service the air hose dry rotted and began to leak.
I went to Husky and they don't carry this part. The site at huskytools.com/Home Depot stated the cost to repair the hose was equivalent to buying a whole new Husky 120 VAC M-365 164. And to simply buy another unit.
So while it is a fantastic pump, and still pumps air frantically, once the hose dry rots it's worthless.
For it's $29.98 price I expected a longer life than six months of use on a bicycle tire.
Therefore I give this pump a poor rating, don't buy it.

I used it infrequently to inflate my bike tires. The rubber air hose sprung a leak at two years of age rendering the whole unit useless since I can't find a replacement part for it. My local Home Depot is not currently stocking this unit. It is on the website for $10 more than I paid.

Bought unit 4 years ago, I have used to inflate lawn tractor and car tires and air mattress.Worked well and much faster than 12 volt type. However it does heat up quite hot and there is a warning on machine about this. This high heat melted air hose at connection to unit. No replacement part from Husky-Home Depot, but 800# adviser was polite and said she gets many calls with same problem. Also air hose was only 2 feet long a little shorter than I like. Also electrical cord is only 16 inches long and was starting to fray after 4 years of light use, probably less than 40 times used. I would buy again if needed after looking at other inexpensive units. My big beef is that there are emergency situations to use an inflator: this is not robust enough to put trust in.

The hose broke after a year or so. I should have taken it back to HD and get it replaced, no receipt. Regardless, a common problem with the hose. It is actually very poorly made. I was able to fix it by cutting it and sliding it back in, so far it's working.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by KM Good for a few inflations before it fails
I am on my 3rd inflator and now have to replace another unit that is one year out of warranty. It will be my 4th unit. I originally purchased one for my home and one for my workplace. I use them to sporadically inflate a car or trailer tire that has deflated by a few PSI. At most each unit gets a light workout 4-5 times a year (if that) inflating a slightly low car or boat trailer or camper tire by a few PSI. The product does an adequate job as a light duty inflator but is not fast and I don't think will last very long if put to heavy duty usage. I replaced the unit that I kept at my work location under warranty when it just stopped working (it had been used a total of 5 or 6 times when it failed). Now I have to replace the unit at home that has been used under a dozen times over 3 years because the hose ruptured. I try to minimize continuous run time to under 3 minutes as all of them get very hot but clearly that has not helped. Nice unit while they work but very low quality and life expectancy has been my experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. If you have to buy this product, then you may want to consider paying the $7 for the extra 2 year warranty as there is a very high probability that you will get your monies worth on the extra protection....but I would shop elsewhere first.

Shopped for spring stuff and got what I needed. Also, received good advise from clerks about two plants I am growing that came from HD.

It worked ONCE to inflate a low automobile tire and that took a long time. On two subsequent efforts to inflate the same tire and a tire on another vehicle, it came on easily but pumped absolutely NO air. A piece of junk as far as I am concerned. Wish I had kept the sales receipt. Spend more more of your money and get a better inflator.

I have had my share of tire pumps that ran on batteries...never again...they die out at the worst time. This low cost pump is perfect for me to check the tires of my vehicles. It is well made, mostly metal, heavy duty cord, firm on/off switch, and NO BATTERY! I wipe it off to keep the dust off as it gets warm (which is normal) but keeping it clean keeps it cooler.
