Customer Reviews

Rated 2.7 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! I implore you, do not buy this! First, you have to tighten the bejesus out of the holders, or everything creeps out of adjustment. Then, when you get them tight enough to not move, they strip out & wont stay fixed at all. After literally 5 hours of use, one of the bulbs quit working - replace the bulb, still doesn't work. Also, plan on replacing the bulbs after 25-30 hours of use, because they burn out. This thing is really a compete piece of garbage. It looks heavy-duty and well-built, bit it isn't. April 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Blinding lights Halogen lighting is amazing. However the frames could use to be a bit sturdier. March 15, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Light But Not Perfect Adjustments This is an excellent work light. It was easy to put together, throws a lot of light, and is easy to move around. There are only two things that could be improved upon: One is that one of my adjustment knobs came already stripped, so it doesn't do a great job holding the light in place (the light doesn't fall off, just doesn't always stay exactly where I pointed it.) The other is that the lights only adjust left and right, and pole goes up and down, but the lights themselves can't be "tilted." Overall, great product for the money and very helpful in a work environment. Also, be aware that this does throw a lot of heat, so if it's hot summer and you're working in an non air-conditioned shop or garage, this could be an issue. December 27, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap Chinese JUNK! The lamps are loose on the removable bar even with attaching hardware tight. The removable bar is loose on the stand. The lower clamp for extending the light broke the first time I picked the unit up to move it, now its taped together. Bulbs only last a couple hundred hours when they should last several thousand hours. On/Off switches are poor quality, sometimes you have to operate them several times before the bulb will light. Come on Home Depot, invest in an American company to make a decent quality work light! June 25, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Another half baked Husky Product My HD had this item under the Husky Name - it is exactly the same item. Boy talk about flimsy! Off the tripod it is solid but if I wanted floor lamps I would have bought them. 1) No instructions 2) WHen on the tripod it wobbles all over. I had to put some foam padding on the bracket where it attaches to get a nice snug fit on top - but it still has too much wobble for me - these things get hot so you want something real solid. Husky let me down again. It is almost a quality item - but just shy of good engineering - it is going back in the AM. November 27, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Light This product is easy to assemble and has good lighting. The tripod is flimsy but I can live with that. I might have more of an issue with that if I needed to use this regularly. The price is very good and it gives off a lot of light. I am pleased with the purchase considering the price. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by mediocre at best Flimsy construction. Non secure base. Lights burn out rapidly or don't work at all. Sadly at my age, I need more light to do painting and trim projects. But this is a poor excuse for a real light May 23, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Best Feature... 4 selections of lighting More wobbly, when fully extended on stand, than my other similar light. 4 possible lighting selections is nice. With all 4 lights on (1200 Watts) doesn't seem as bright as my other similar light with 2 lights on (1200 Watts). Only recommended if price is most important criteria. January 15, 2014
