Customer Reviews

13 in. PVC/ABS Saw is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy PVC saw This Husky 13 inch PVC/ABS hand saw is ideal for cutting PVC that results in a cleaner and straight cut than a hack saw. I had to repair the one inch water supply line that comes into my garage with several 90 degree fittings and short pieces. I was able to cut 6 pieces from a 1 inch schedule 40 PVC pipe with this saw which has dedicated fine teeth and an adjustable angle handle. This PVC saw is a quality product with a good molded handle, a plastic removable saw teeth protector and a forever guarantee.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saws Plastic Better The first thing I noticed about this plastic pipe saw was that there was very little kirf compared to a wood saw blade. The saw teeth are more chisel like instead of pointed shark tooth shape, so there are noticeable differences of the teeth of a true plastic pipe saw. The ideal is that the saw cuts fast and straight. I would have really liked this saw when I was plumbing my house. I always had a difficult time cutting a nice square cut through PVC/ABS and wasted a lot of time going to my miter saw. Most plumbers I've seen use a reciprocating saw and rough cut the pipe at hacked up angles. You can't get a good glue seal that way. I did fire a few supposed plumber guys employed by name companies here in Flagstaff. I like the heavy cast aluminium handle as it will take some rough falls. And the big handle nut allows for various blade angles to be set..
