Opens paint cans, removes and installs entry door seals by allowing you to pry out the seal by twisting the tool. Removes door and base trim by tapping it in between wall and trim pulling out and down and twisting tool. A pry bar may be needed to complete the task. The blade side if it is smooth may be used to smooth nail damage and fill small damaged areas in drywall. It can also be used to remove caulking around a fixture on a hard surface ceramic tile. the blade for scraping and the pointed end to pull out work well for caulking removal. The tool may cause damage to surfaces, use the tool carefully. There are hex holes in the tool, I don't know what their use is. there is a screw driver socket in the handle and two screwdriver bits in the handle. the tool has a nail puller for small nails.

Can this be used to spread spackle to fill nail/wall anchor hole on sheetrock?

And cut the remaining wall anchor from sheetrock.

I used it for that purpose by developing a bead at the end. There's not a lot of flex to it, so take that into account.

Does it work for scraping stubborn wallpaper?

I'm looking for something as effective as the Stanley 1-1/2" razor blade, but wider.
Asked by: Juliet
There wide scrapers with blades, for linoleum, etc...ask where they are on what isle. But yes, this one may work to scrape some wallpaper, its not very sharp but may sharp enough - and very tough so its easy to work with, its not bending much when you pushing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Handy Tool I have only had this tool for about two weeks and can't imagine how it was not in my toolbox years ago. A very handy multipurpose item that should be in everyone's toolbox!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy tool to have on a paint job. I purchased this to help remove multiple layers of 60+ year old paint from my trim. Although having 14 in 1 tools is nice, I doubt I will use any more than 4-5 functions because the scrapper blade is what I’m interested in. In that regard, it will take off paint that is already bubbling or peeling but it has a hard time getting paint off that’s still really well adhered. If the blade were sharper, maybe it could get more paint off. Overall, I think it’s a handy tool to have around for a painting project. Especially considering the price.

I just used this for a minor update to a bathroom. I used it to remove old caulk with the tip, and to scrape off residual caulk with the scraper edge. I also used the hammer end to drive a picture nail and the roller cleaner to try and clean the roller. It did a great job and held up to some rigorous prying. Great value too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Scraper! What can I say this is a very high quality scraper and you can feel it right away as soon as you pick it up, this is the best multi-tool scraper of this kind I've ever had the rubber overmolded handle is great it,s got good grip and is very comfortable and I like the black with white trim it's snazzy lol, having the metal beater cap on the end so u can hit it with a hammer and not break the handle is nice and the blade is great quality. The only thing I don't like are the small bits in the handle that fit into the back of the handle so you can use it like a screwdriver, seriously! You can bet that if I have this scraper in my toolbox then I've got a screwdriver in there too and the first time I beat on the end with a hammer the bits popped out and got lost also after you've hit on the end cap really good a few times the hex hole that holds the bits in will deform and you won't be able to get the bits into it. But hey that's by no means is a deal breaker, this is still a superior product!

The screwdriver bits don't stay in the handle very well, so I ended up taking those out. Not sure I'll ever use it as a screwdriver since we have a bunch laying around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST TOOL EVER Honestly, this was one of the tools at the end of the aisle that claimed "14 in 1" and I just picked it up since it was pretty cheap.. I was about to check out and figured "what can I lose?"... Sometimes I'm a sucker like that... Well... let me just tell you that I've found a use for this tool at just about every phase of my remodel project. Demolition, tiling, opening bottles (probably the most important), chiseling, cutting... this thing does it all. I went back and bought another one for my partner since we both found ourselves using it excessively and sharing got annoying... I think I've only used 10 of the 14 functions.... It still has SO much potential. Tearing up old vinyl tile? GET IT... this thing gets right under there with the tap of a hammer. If MacGyver had one of these bad boys then that series would have ended after one episode since he would have been able to solve every problem ever during the commercial breaks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice, but I can see an improvement While there is not a whole lot involved with a paint scraper, this one had some additional features that made it nicer than the basic scraper. I'm not sure if anyone would use all the "options", but they are nice to have, if you do find you need them. The handle fits nicely in the hand, and the edges do get into the tight spaces you might encounter while scraping. My only problem with this tool, was the two screw-driver tips that mount in the handle. The magnet system isn't strong enough to really hold the tips in the grooves in the handle. It might be better to have some sort of hollowed handle, with a removable cap (like some multi-tip screw drivers). I lost the tips within an hour of scraping on my house eaves....probably should have just removed them and put them in my toolbox....and honestly, I don't miss the screwdriver tips.
