It will be in a boat, stored in a Pelican case that does get some condensation inside.

Answer:
AA,
Our wrenches are completely chrome plated, which stands up very well to the elements. That being said salt water is one of the harshest elements that metals can be exposed to. If the tool is put away dry, and there is some sort of absorbent material (such as a tool box liner, or the Pelican foam inserts) then our wrench should stand up to these conditions.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice product. This 12-point Husky wrench is approximately, at the greatest dimensions, 13" long, 2" wide, and 1/2" thick. I selected this to test on my Tilting Arbor Saw because my 12-point 15/16" wrench that is 12-1/4" long, 1-7/8" wide, and 1/2" thick has no ratchet. When replacing the blade I need to balance a piece of scrap wood and the wrench to remove and install the arbor nut. Without the ratchet I need to play around to get it in a good pushing or pulling spot which I've found annoying at times. The ratchet allows play between the 12-points so the juggling is no longer necessary. For me this is the advantage. The ratchet rotates in one direction meaning loosening is done in one direction and the ratchet must be flipped to tighten. Each side is engraved with a curved arrow to show you which way it rotates but just turning it with your fingers works too. The Husky has their trademark shiny finish and it's about twice as heavy as my other wrench. July 21, 2016
