Customer Questions & Answers

Are the parts fixed? Will it "fall" apart when lifting top shelf? Some carts are "snapped" together. Is this one bolted/riveted?

Asked by: GassyMan
It is bolted together quite well, the legs are bolted through the rollers, and the top with a few screws. All the material is water proof. Got a second one for my sister, she uses it for gardening, and hoses it off, second season now, no signs of rust, and it rolls in the grass!! with potting soil and tools in the bottom, and full pots on the top shelf.

What are the size of the caster wheels and do they swivel?

Asked by: Nitro314
The wheels are 5 inch, hard plastic rims with grey no mar rubber, 1/2" thick. two casters are straight and two swivel on bearings. very smooth. Standard 4 hole bolt on. (rectangle) , available anywhere. You can put the swivel rollers on either the handle end or the other end, or on the side. I have them on the handle side. Good ground clearance, so it rolls down the lip of the garage and up with ease. They do not have brakes on them, but you can buy the metal version with brakes for about 20 dollars a pair for good rubber/steel ball bearing.

Are there replacement legs available

Asked by: Bilbrac001
You can write or call the manufacture for replacement legs. You CANNOT use the spares to make it taller. But you can get replacement legs. All four are identical.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built Bought this tool cart due to one I was using falling apart which I got from harbor freight which was metal .cart was easy to assemble but I used locktite on every bolt so I won't have to worry about them coming loose in the future . Once assembled the cart rolls very smooth and I even drilled 2 inch holes with a unibit so I can easy have my prybars to store in. I've put heavy weight (150lbs), chemicals and lots of dirt and dust as an auto technician and the cart cleans up well and rolls smooth . I use this cart daily to keep my Tools and equipment close when I am far from my toolbox beats putting them on the floor and having to pick up wasting time. Very satisfied with this purchased

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The bad wheel I bought this cart counting on it to be versatile and made well, like many of the Husky tools I own. Assembling the cart was pretty easy. When finished I noticed that one of the coasting wheels was messed up do to something in the ball bearing assembly. I haven't proceeded in contacting husky or home depot on fixing the problem. Hopefully it will be painless. I have to say that I have purchased the older model of this cart previously with no issues.

Had one of these carts for about two years and no problems, but a new cart purchased in late 2016 has a defective swivel caster (lost the ball bearings) after just a few weeks of light use, and the other swivel caster looks like it isn't far behind. The Home Depot store that sold it wasn't helpful in getting replacement parts. Looks like the product quality slipped on the casters at least. You'd think that the store would be more helpful in fixing a fairly new product that is a store brand. I bought replacement swivel casters from U-Line. The cart itself is made very well, but the casters seem to be the weak link.

It went together easily. I use it at work to take my tools and MIG welder to equipment that can't be brought inside and it even handles rolling on rough ground pretty well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tool cart Bought this cart to keep tools in one place vs all over the shop. I am very satisfied with the structure of this cart. Gave it 4 stars due to the fact I wish it was wider .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Product We use this in the garage to hold all of our cleaning supplies. Very well built and worth the extra $ as opposed to a flimsy unit you have to replace every six months.
