Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Toolman Rugged Self Supporting Backpack is Awesome!
Not too many backpacks can stand up on their own, but this Husky can!. Tremendous amounts of room, multiple ways to carry it and can stand up on it's own without any help and fully loaded. This is so tough, I don't think I'll ever get any holes in it no matter how much abuse.

This is a very heavy duty backpack and overall very good quality. Lots of pockets and good zippers. Okay, why not 5 stars? Easy. Every single space in the body of the backpack goes all the way to the bottom. A much, much more useful approach would be to have all of the secondary pockets, besides the main volume, set at different levels so everything doesn't end up at the bottom of the bag. I would guess that many people would be fine with that considering the relative quality, but to have everything bunch up at the bottom is awkward at best and it ends up being cramped and a hassle to use readily.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by clo1992 Excellent bag and ideal bag for a college student!
I am a sophomore at a in-state institution studying Architecture and Planning and this bag is perfect for all the materials I need to carry with and all the rest of my text books too! I bought this at my local Home Depot and it was $50 instead of the $70 advertised online! I highly reccommend to elders and younger people too who use their laptops and need alot of supplies all of the time!

Third bag it's awesome. I have the husky big field bash as well but that's when I have big jobs to do. I'm an electrician an this serves my purpose just fine. So far I've put over 50 lbs of tools in this bag and it's holding up very well. It's built ruff and is holding together. So before you go buying 3 bags like Jansport that will most likely break on you just buy this bag and believe me you'll be satisfied with your purchase.

I bought this for use for college as I could not find a backpack that had enough room and would stay upright. This tool backpack works excellent for my needs. It has two extremely large pockets and lots of small pockets.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TNgineer Excellent Backpack; Sorry It's Discontinued
Really sorry to find out this pack has been discontinued. I wanted to buy another one for off-the-job use, but it looks like I'm writing its eulogy instead. I purchased one 16 months ago and have used it on the job daily ever since. It is my portable office; I keep 25-30 lbs of code books, manuals, notebook PC, camera, tools, safety items and office supplies in it every day. Sometimes it gets even more items (and weight) stuffed in it. And it has worn like iron; a wipe down with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt makes it look brand new. The carrying handles (which are padded and comfortable), shoulder straps, and zippers are heavy duty. When it arrived I just kept finding more and more pockets and compartments. It is as near to perfect for what I need as I can imagine a backpack being. I hope whatever HD replaces this pack with is as well designed, versatile, and well built as this model.

This pack is excellent. I am able to carry my 13" MacBook Pro, my iPad and a Keyboard. Amazingly rugged and lots of room. I'm sure a larger Laptop would not fit in the Padded Rear Compartment but it is perfect for my needs. One think I don't like is the shoulder straps. I have used a high end SwissGear pack for the last year and got really spoiled by the comfort.
