Customer Questions & Answers

Is this water resistant?

Asked by: Louie
Yes, the 1680 denier (ballistic weave) material is water resistant. Tip- I also like to keep a few of those moisture eating packets you find inside new products in my tool bags to help reduce moisture inside the tool bag.

what is the weight of this bag

Asked by: pretzelman
I don't know the weight empty but, with a very full load of tools my bag weighs close to 30 pounds. The bag is very strong and durable. I have it filled with wrenches, pliers etc.

Customer Reviews

18 in. Large Mouth Bag with Tool Wall is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 95.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Bag But Needs Some Design Improvements I like this bag but it could use some design improvements. My main gripe is the location of the pouches that hold the two parts bins. In my opinion, they are not ergonomically placed. When carrying the bag, via handles or shoulder strap, the bins dig into my leg or torso. To avoid this, It may have been better if the bin pouches were on the same side so you could carry the bag with the bins away from your body. Another option would be for Huskey to put one of their larger parts bins (ex: 11" or 14") on one side of the bag instead of the two small ones on opposite sides. Also, the parts bins included don't keep smaller parts (like washers) separate. When the bins are closed, there is enough of a gap for small parts to migrate into adjacent compartments. Another thing is that a standard 10" hand file seems awkward where ever I place it. I keep it in a side pocket on the inside of the bag but it seems like it wants to poke through the top when I zip it up. Not that big of a deal but maybe the bag could be a little taller when zipped up in order to avoid this. Lastly, like others have mentioned, the exterior pockets are quite tight. Despite the modifications I proposed, I'm pretty happy with the bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag Bought as a spare because I liked the first one so much. Work commercial construction so I'm hard on tool bags. Like how I can have my tools standing up in the bag for easy and fast access.first bags a year and half old and still going.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Roomy, but poorly made The bag is great if you don't use your tools often. The bag is very roomy for various tools, I've never felt I don't have enough room. However, the quality of the pockets are very poor. Several of the pockets shredded within the first month! Now it hasn't been a full year since I purchased this bag and all the zippers have fallen off and there are no pockets left inside the bag,but I guess you get what you pay for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good so far. Had it a few weeks now and i feel like it is too heavy, im 5'6 and i think the shoulder strap is too long and doesnt stay in place. It keeps everything in place just fine. The bottom looks durrable. I work in a factory as a mechanic and there are always operators looking through tool bags and stealing anything they can find. Having a closed bag seems like it keeps them from looking through them.

Padded carry handles and a heavy duty shoulder strap makes carrying heavy loads a breeze. Husky makes lots of great bags of every size for nearly every purpose. Super strong construction of the best materials. For the money you will be hard pressed to find a better Tool bag.
