I needed a tool bag that could take a beating from the baggage handlers at the airports. Since I fly with my tools an average of 2-3 times a week and my tools get checked and go with me. This bag lasted a year with all the rough handling it took from it's many flights and travels through mud, snow, rain and hot sun. The airlines allow 50 lbs and most of the time It weighed in at 49.5 lbs, (that's also how I could tell if I'd left something behind) Well, I just passed the one year mark and it came down the baggage conveyor wrapped in plastic. It must have gotten in a fight with another bag somewhere because the handle was no where to be found, the steel reinforcement rods were sticking out and the zipper was almost torn off. I'm going to the store to buy another one, lets see If I get another year.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by MPS2J Defective Bag/ Good Customer Service
I purchased this tote to hold about 30lbs of soft equipment for my fitness business in 2013-14. I literally could not believe the seams gave on this bag when going down stairs. I thought this was a sturdy (husky) equipment tote bag on wheels, but customer beware. Home Depot and Husky warranty does not support you. There were NO Tools inside the bag. However, the Customer Service Staff via 888# was very professional, helpful and did provide a $30 credit coupon on the purchase of a replacement from the store, based on the fact that we have made so many purchases in the last year that were traceable through our card.

This is very good for bringing the tools you need for a specific job without the hassle of searching mid job for the right tool. This fits the gap between my tool belt and tool box perfectly.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by cubg1 Handle is problematic. Great concept, but needs a little touching up for real world daily tradesperson use.
Features - 5 stars.
Mechanical quality - 3 stars.
Design usability - 5 stars.
I really like everything about this bag except the collapsible handle system. I use this tote every day for my job as a telecommunications engineer working on a Illinois higher education campus environment. It overall has been very reliable and durable, but when it is cold <32 degrees, the handle simply won't go up and down properly. I am not sure if the tubes of the handle mechanism shrink when it is cold, but in order to pull the handle out once I have collapsed it, I have to put my foot on top of the bag and yank up several times with a large amount of force, and usually it still won't come up all the way. Pushing it back down requires me to put my weight into it leaning over the bag. Once the bag and mechanism warms up, the issue disappears. If this weren't an issue, I would give it five stars and a recommendation, but the handle is a big portion of the tote function and design.

The handles can't handle wet cold weather(won't retract) the wheels break and in the store there is no warranty information on the tool bag. I have had 3 of them(purchased only one) and I am done! Its always an argument in the store as to what the warranty cover. The store customer service always gives in after a lillte while since they can't show me whats covered under the 3 year limited warranty. All the items that have broken the last 3 time are not covered. If you intend to use to use this bag for heavy use don't get it, buy harbour freight and trash it for $25 when it breaks.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Maddasher Pros and Cons but pretty reliable choice
Over the years I have had many of these and have purchased many of these for employees. This is definitely a tool bag worth using. I have also seen the evolution of this tool bag. The handle on the newer ones just is not as reliable as the older. The handle now has more play feels loose and the bottom is made of plastic in place of the metal that used to be there.
That being said I have also flow all over the country with these and after TSA opens them and digs though them then they get tossed, thrown, and kicked all over the airport before making it to the plane. This bag usually makes it around 75 trips before it starts to fall apart. If you don't know that is pretty good. I have a couple of these that are many years old and will last many more years.
If you need a bag on wheels to roll your tools around from site to site and toss in the back of your car or truck and go home, this bag should last you quite some time.
